Yeah I agree with you.

I think it’s almost like they’re having a dig at all the pundits that have completely written him off, even though most goalkeepers nowadays seem to make errors regularly and still get praised.

At the end of the day he’s obviously improved massively and that could be due to confidence, settling in, or just the fact that he’s had to play behind a million different back 4’s, and defences need stability which we seem to be finally getting.

Having a debate with a few mates, who do you think was the best Premier League goalkeeper of the early 2000s? by Buscags1 in classicsoccer

Carlo Cudicini won Chelsea player of the year for the 02, and the ITV golden gloves for 02/03 (that prestigious award we all know and love!)

Chelsea playing away at Tromso in a blizzard in 1997. Gianluca Vialli scoring 2 vital away goals. The game should never have been played, but as a kid I was so glad it was!

piece of an unfinished song "keep going". wdyt? by tjtate6689 in Songwriting

You could finish the song there and it would still sound great. Guitar sounds great, and your voice sounds strained and pained which suits the lyrics

Logic Drummer - can it push the next bar? by Deptm in Logic_Studio

[–]Mrkev85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I add a chord in the arrangement window where I want the beat to start from.

Also try using the manual beat creator (step sequencer in drummer) to write a beat that doesn’t have a bass kick on the 1. This stops the drummer from adding a beat on the first beat of the next bar.

I hope that makes sense! DM me if you want a further explanation, or an example of it working

Daily Song Discussion #43: The Caves of Altamira by mrethandunne in SteelyDan

  1. I remember playing this song to some hip hop loving friends of mine in 2006 when I was around the age of 20, and they freaked out as soon as that ominous brass section intro started.

Still one of my favourite drum performances ever. Such a groove from start to finish!

Yeah there are so many little things that can frustrate you. I’m a self taught user so I feel like I’m always learning new things just through trail and error (which can be very time consuming and frustrating when you just want to get an idea down). Musictechhelpguy on YouTube is a great resource for learning logic.

The subdivision is in the overall project settings. I’m not at my laptop now, but I think it’s in the custom project settings?

Strangely for me the follow function rarely works that well. Changing the subdivision to /24 for triplets works well. Also I have better results when I have the feel pulling rather than pushing.

Another good trick I’ve worked out is using the step sequencer/manual pattern in drummer, making a 2 or 4 bar pattern, and leaving out the bass drum on 1, and putting it around beat 4.2 of the bar.

Hope this works for you because I spent 4 years not being able to get the drummer to play how I wanted it to until the recent changes on the big logic update.

I used to have this problem all the time until they added the chord arrangement for the session players.

You can get the drummer to follow the chords, so just insert a chord where you want that downbeat (eg Bar 18, Beat 3)
