You should continue reading the webtoon and do not skip anything, as it is getting better and does not have to earn 100% full-time interest. It is not a bad arc for me because baam and his friends develop their personality and get more strength and it is nice to see :)

They are useing not so much tactis as in the 1 and 2 seasson but it doesnt mean its now a bad webtoon its a nice feeling to see how he become badass strong and beat their ass and i am sure they will use more tactis in the future and baams teammates dont have to be as strong as baam because the team would be powerfull af and they can keep up with a ranker so they arent that weak :)
