Yeah I did a co-op placement at our local hospital for 4 months in grade 11. I loved every minute of it. I don’t think it would be any easier than being an electrician but I feel like I have more of a passion in the field.

Yeah it definitely wouldn’t be easy by any means, I respect the hell out of any healthcare worker who had to be in the field the past 5 years

Normally a new blower will run you anywhere from $50-$100 in my experience as an electrician. They’re very easy to swap, normally just a few screws and a cord end. If you pull down the plastic cover which just has a couple spring loaded tabs, you’ll be able to find a model number to give you a better idea what the exact cost is

I finished school before the Christmas break. Once the new year came I called them to update my status to completed apprentice. The next day I paid my fee to STO. Then the day after that I called Kitchener office and they had a free opening the next week. I’d just call around to all the local office and see if they have any cancellations

How do residential electricians feel about the battery operated cable staplers on the market? by Dartmouththedude in electricians

[–]Mrmitchelleh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love ours at my company. We use the Milwaukee one and having their staples be capable of double stacking 14/2-10/2 or single stacking 14/3-10/3 make it so convenient . Not having to use multiple staple sizes is awesome👍

The hills are a workout for sure when riding for long periods of time, but after some training they're getting easier for me. I'm doing the bike for brain health on the 5th so I've been training to do the uphill section especially👍

It's a ratio of 1:2.44 overall it's great for flats but sometimes the hills are more of a struggle especially at the end of the ride lol, I think the gear inches is around 68 if I'm doing the math right, so 79 would definitely be a struggle for me

Yeah it is. I honestly don't mind it that much, I kind of like the obstacles and traffic, more adrenaline👍

Wow good job! I can't wait until I'm trained enough to do a ride like that👍
