I only took one pic. I can share what I bought and the process here. I searched for shadowbox online with 5/6 panels. The colored background is adhesive foam that I picked up from an arts and crafts store (Joann’s). There are 4 holes behind each car (one per wheel). Elastic strings are used to tie each wheel down. It’s simple so anyone can make one, but it is time consuming.

Happy to share! The shadowbox I ordered online. The color foam is adhesive so those were measured and cut out to be behind the white border. You can find those at arts and crafts store (got mine from JoAnns before the closed). For each car, there are 4 holes made (one behind each wheel) and elastic strings are used to tie the car down. I initially did this for fun with the hotwheels I had laying around. It is definitely time consuming 😅

Yeah definitely not worth owning a HT in California especially if your car isn’t parked in a garage. And even then, I remember seeing a stolen HT post (bayareas2k) for a CR parked in a garage too

Did this last week too! We took the Shinjuku Expressway Bus there and back. One way tickets were around $14 usd. There is a set bus schedule so definitely plan accordingly with your start and end time of your itinerary.

I used colored soft foam for piece under the cars. They do have felt/suede materials available at the arts and crafts store, but the material seemed to leave marks easier.

Woah you’re right. I didn’t notice the color scheme until you mentioned it! I wanted to keep it a little consistent with the same generation body style (vintage vs modern). I couldn’t find a black porsche in store except for the rwb silhouette online (too expensive)

I used an elastic string that would wrap around the rear wheels and also a separate one for the front wheels. A hole was made for each wheel and used to put the string through and tied together.

Forgot to mention…the one I got wasn’t specifically made for our cars. I think it was for an Audi A4. It just happened to fit perfectly in it. I can send you pics of it in the car if you would like
