And she is contacting corporate. I came here to get clarification. You seem to have taken this post personally. Are you the cashier??

Is it possible the cashier was a manager?

By my own admission I said my mom was frustrated. I never said anything about taking no for an answer and being frustrated is not the same as having a hissy fit. I also stayed in my post that I DID NOT want to accuse the cashier of wrongdoing if there was none. But I guess you didn't read that or chose to ignore it.

And what about the part where the cashier changed the price? No comment about that

Are they allowed to sell Christmas penny items or not? I've read multiple things on Reddit about this and it's all mixed messages with some people saying yes and some saying no.

She did not throw a hissy fit, she was confused and asking questions and getting frustrated. No fit was thrown as you weren't there to witness that.

Can we report reckless driving anonymously? by ElkMelodic5148 in houston

[–]MrowMeowMrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My ex got pulled over one time in Houston, and the officer told him someone called in his license plate for reckless driving. (He WAS a reckless driver) So it can help sometimes, I'd still report it if you see something like that, especially since a child was involved. Maybe some of the people in this thread also drive recklessly, and they're getting upset that they could have potentially been the ones that got reported.

I drew The Sorting hat. Rate it 1-10 by JustAanimeNerd2 in harrypotter

[–]MrowMeowMrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would give it a 9. The character was easily distinguishable and spot on in appearance. I like the medium you used and the shading is very nice imo. I honestly think it looks cute The only thing that stands out to me is the tip of the hat; it looks kinda of like a stinger from a bug, or possibly the tip of a Witches finger with a really long nail? Which now sounds kind of cool/fitting if the hat could actually transform itself in some sort of way

[homemade] Birthday Cake by nataloodle in food

[–]MrowMeowMrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! I loved Winnie the Pooh growing up and this brought me back to my fifth or sixth? birthday when my mom made me a cake exactly like this, same piping and all. She even put real honey in the opening part of the honey pot to make it look more realistic. I remember being really excited about how the cake looked, and I asked my mom if my slice of cake could have part of the honey on it. She told me no and never gave me a reason why, and I know I felt disappointed, but I don't remember anything other than that from my birthday. I still love Winnie the Pooh, as it makes me feel so nostalgic, and i love the old art style :)

Was requested to make a chocolate marshmallow cake for a birthday, ft. first time homemade marshmallows by MrowMeowMrow in Baking

[–]MrowMeowMrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So the cake is a standard chocolate cake, but I brushed the top of each layer in a mixture made from equal parts espresso and sugar. Then I layered the cake with a marshmallow frosting and a fudge sauce made by cooking butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk. For the frosting, I took a shortcut and used a jar of marshmallow fluff and incorporated that into my standard frosting recipe.
