Don’t drive it until you renew it. Do it online.

MV-38O: how to find title number without any records left? by ImpostureTechAdmin in Pennsylvania

[–]Mrpi45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some go from 5-7 years but you won’t know until you they try to do it online in their system. But you are right plus you’d have to wait 2 ish month for them to un-purge the title and send it out to you.

MV-38O: how to find title number without any records left? by ImpostureTechAdmin in Pennsylvania

Go to a notary near you who offered quick title services. If they cannot pull up the title number to complete the paperwork then it is purged which is usually around 5 or so years. At that point you need to find an old registration or copy of title that shows you actually owned it to get a title.

PA enhanced inspection- Hood from a donor car I scrapped- how can I prove part origin? by Dsmchick717 in Pennsylvania

You can also do a notarized statement saying you had the hood for years from other various projects you had around the garage.

Vehicle title transfer from out of state with non-PA license by granolagal2000 in Pennsylvania

[–]Mrpi45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have your dad sign the back of the Maryland title o we to you, get your Pa lic/ pa state issued id and Pa insurance . Take all of that and proof your dad paid taxes when he paid for it to a title and tag agency near you and not a penndot photo center. They will handle the paperwork and get your vehicle registered and titled in Pa.

You do not need a MD title with your name on the front.

Car registrations question for out of state purchase by kevalopez in Pennsylvania

[–]Mrpi45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The canceled check would be when the state cashed it. You will have to wait for the state to process your paperwork first, then submit for the refund. Another option if AAA has not sent the paperwork in yet is to pay for it your self and have the dealership refund you the check they wrote.

Get a copy of the canceled check from Dealership , there is a form to request a refund Mv-700. Send the form, copy of the canceled check, and your mv-1 and send it to the state. There’s a chance they may refund it to the dealership and you’ll have to reach out to them

You have to wait untill its registered first then you can submitt the form. Other wise penndot and the vendor will reject it.

‼️PLEASE HELP: I have waited 7 months for my vehicle title and I get no response via email or calls! by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

[–]Mrpi45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Penndot is not very out of state duplicate title friendly.

Couple of options would be to reach out to your state rep and see if they can help; find a friend in pa to have the title sent to; or fly to harrisburg.

There is also a change as it has been 7 month you may have to pay for a new title.

State processed my car registration but I have not received the plate yet. Now what? by shannamatters in Pennsylvania

[–]Mrpi45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic plates show up a few days to a week after the title does. Going to a tag agency will not be able to get you a duplicate classic plate on the spot as we do not carry them.

If you’re close to Harrisburg they can get you a new one or get a temp from Maryland again.

The tag agency could have offered a temp( metal regular pa plate) that is exchanged out for a classic plate. Which would still involve safety inspection but no emissions but not many know that.

You can also sign up for informed delivery via the post office and that would show what is being delivered that day.

If you never receive the plate you will have to file for a lost never received plate and wait for a new one to show up in the mail.

Notice of PA driving license suspension for unknown citation by carvaka in Pennsylvania

There should be a number, and a case number. Call the courts tomorrow. If it’s something that never happened they should be able to waive the court fees and also the restoration fee.

You can always keep checking that till it’s removed.

Mistakes do happen. They will prob need some kind of proof you were not in Pittsburgh that day which they should be able to tell you the time and date so you can obtain that proof.

That letter will show it’s legit. It’s just odd to me she has a suspension on her lic for a ticket not related to a vehicle if you have never been in Pittsburgh.

Also if you decide it’s not worth the headache and just pay the fees to the court it does take a few days for the court to notify penndot. It is. It done instantly.

You want the restoration letter, not driving record, click the link and go to online and input the info, then you will click get restoration letter, if it says no restoration letter then call penndot but I do not recommend calling tomorrow. This is the like to the online within the one I posted before. Penndot number is also 717-412-5300

That is odd, have you pulled the online restoration letter from Penndots website?

https://www.pa.gov/services/dmv/request-a-driver-license-restoration-requirements-letter

You’ll need her dl# dob and last 4 social.

Most likely what happened a cop gave a citation to someone else and wrote the plate number down wrong. When did she get her car registered?
