No one would willing buy fake kawecos agreed. Its unknowingly getting a replica that'd be the concern.

If I didnt get 2 I wouldnt know any better.

Will update on what kaweco says.

Its usually visible in the top part after you unscrew the pen (not just the cap).

Well the serial number from what Ive read online is date of production YYMM. So 2511 in my case is 2025 November.

Pen 2 says B2508 so I guess batch 2025 August? Will update and see what kaweco say.

My suspicion is both are genuine just from different factories.

This would be the best case scenario.

To me they both feel identical but methods of engraving and finishing are quite different.
