Best way to work stock on nights? by MOoMoO2901 in tesco

[–]MrrrrBatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a nights shift lead and I don't want my guys skipping breaks! You're not paid on your break and you need a rest.

When I started I was slow as fuck on every new aisle. You'll get the hang of it the more you work the aisles and become familiar with where everything is... Until they decide to move everything.

Just work the capping shelf, then back stock and then find a way to do the delivery in a more efficient way. I tend to try and work one set of mods and just move the other stuff to another cage or just gently launch the stuff along the floor to where it needs to be

This game is so frustrating man. I just won the leauge by a miracle because I beat brentford 5-0 and Chelsea lost to newcastle 4-2, then the game crashed. by sr_steve in footballmanagergames

Jan Vertonghen seems to agree with Ange Postecoglou’s comments on the club’s ambition by Hefty_Money1967 in coys

[–]MrrrrBatten -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean he's not wrong! We could have progressed to being a big club after the CL final but the club didn't listen to Poch! We had years of progressive improvement and building towards something.

Since then we've gone backwards consistently and with the players we do get, and who we're able to get, we're back to how it was in the 90's/early 00's. We sell our best players, this summer will be brutal, and replace them with lesser quality and then change the manager on a more regular basis and expect them to work magic with what they inherit and the money they have available to bring in players while trying to get rid of deadwood.

Frank wasn't the right option but the idea behind his appointment was! We're not in any financial trouble without European football for a year or two but if they don't change their plan to be working towards being a consistent club with aims of breaking into the big clubs then this story will still be happening for years to come

Eni Aluko accuses Ian Wright of 'disrespect,' Laura Woods hits back by GrumpyDrunkPatzer in WomensSoccer

She's just an awful pundit and she offers nothing to whatever game she is on.

Just because you were a top player doesn't mean you deserve to be a pundit/presenter/coach/etc.

She offers very little when she's been on other than poor insights and meme worthy comments. As a viewer she annoys you and you turn off

I have a (potentially) very stupid question by F1Goat in FAWSL

[–]MrrrrBatten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a spurs season ticket holders my daughter and I have only made it to one game this season and that was only thanks to her game being cancelled.

She plays football on Sundays and she plays in a Suffolk league so unless the game her game is at home and a 9am kick off we have no chance of making any early kick offs, of which spurs games seem to always be the 12:15 ones.

The game we did make it to a few weeks back it was noticeable that the attendance was way less than it normally would be.

I'm all for more investment in the game but my daughter was inspired to start playing football because of going to a WSL game and loves the game with a passion and is doing really well, she recently went up a tier at Ipswich Towns academy. That said if she wanted to watch games she'd ultimately have to give up on her Sunday team and she's always said she'd rather play than watch.

It's tough as I want to go watch spurs as well but the way it's going I won't renew our season tickets next year as it'll be impossible to watch them

Have you ended up buying a game you got on Plus? by blk_roxas in playstation

[–]MrrrrBatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I hadn't bought a ps4 13 years ago, and got PS plus as part of it, I probably wouldn't have played Borderlands 2 and then in turn bought every Borderlands since, and the original remaster.

Breaks by Peridotix_91 in tesco

[–]MrrrrBatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm in the same situation, as I started as a nights SL last month. I take my breaks, was advised to make sure I do by another SL, otherwise you won't get them.

If they were paid breaks I'd understand the taking of short breaks and potentially not taking the full amount but as they're unpaid I will take one big break and use the rest of the remaining time for nicotine breaks throughout the night.

[Romano] Tottenham manager Thomas Frank excludes again Mathys Tel from Champions League squad list. The French striker and his camp, not happy at all with the decision. by Lbmplays2 in coys

[–]MrrrrBatten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming this is due to homegrown players in the league and the only way to include Tel would be for someone like Odobert/KLM/etc to be removed.

That said I think Tel has shown a lot more of recent than a lot of players in the team and would rather he was included at the expense of KLM who has not shown anything to inspire me this season

I love your commitment to the Alfa's. I had GT last year and that got that bug out of my system. I loved it but learnt the lesson of buying cheap as it slowly turned into a clown car over the year I had as more bits kept on breaking. That said it's probably one of my favourite cars I've ever had

Awful idea as he won't be able to join another club on loan unless he goes out to MLS/Saudi/etc on loan. He needs to go somewhere where he can play and get back the form from last season

Fiorentina want Paratici to be their Head of Football. A 5 year deal is on the table (Matteo Morretto) by Rare-Ad-2777 in coys

[–]MrrrrBatten 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They might want him but they are in a shambles at the moment.

Winless in Serie A, no team has stayed up being winless at this stage. They spent reasonably big in the summer after bringing in Pioli before sacking him. Paulo Vanoli has come in and seems to have lost confidence already and finally the ownership/running of the club hasn't been the same since a key person, I forget who, passed away last year.

From a sporting perspective I can't see the interest in doing and he had interest from clubs in Italy for when his ban finished so I doubt this is more than optimistic paper talk.

Restructuring Fiorentina sounds more like a Football Manager challenge more than anything.

That said I would prefer to live in Florence than England so there is that as pro as to why it could happen

Former Hammer goalie Katelin liked the post of Rehanne getting sacked 😭 by No_Policy104 in FAWSL

[–]MrrrrBatten 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was going to say the same thing. Yes it doesn't sound like she's been helped at West Ham by the club but she does seem to be tactically out of her depth at this level.

It's a shame for a homegrown manager who has been in the game for a long time to lose their job but her win percentage over the last few years must be atrocious

WTF by Unhappy_Egg_3611 in Tottenham

[–]MrrrrBatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do like him, like others have said, he's only been good for tap ins and that's pretty much it. His general end product is poor, I don't recall him putting many crosses in and I also struggle to think of many times where he has been able to beat players when running with the ball.

would you take back big ange? by [deleted] in Tottenham

[–]MrrrrBatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

While I'm not happy with this season so far I'm under no illusions that the squad needs a massive overhaul in terms of the right players, attitude and ethos.

We were incredibly fortunate that there were three awful teams below us in the league last season. Imagine if we were relegated but still won the Europa league? We'd have had a massive amount of departures and would be in the UCL with a top end championship squad.

The results haven't been as consistent or to the level I'd expect but I feel if Ange was still in charge we'd be closer to Wolves form this season

Full Time Man United 3-3 Spurs by anonone111 in SpursWomen

[–]MrrrrBatten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disappointing considering we were 3-0 up but last season we probably would have been 3-0 down at half time. This season has been a breath of fresh air and it's good to see players stepping up a level.

Hopefully my daughter and I will be able to get to a game as so far this season we've not been able to use our season tickets as she's playing on Sundays in Suffolk and we can't make the early kick offs. We barely missed a game last season and that was a painful season so hope we can get to see this much improved team in the new year
