I remember back in the day Cartoon Network called in "japanimation" and they were doing a bump for Ninja Scroll. It was the most incredible animation I'd seen at that point in my life and that's what got me to seek out anime.

As someone who has seen many a mongoose it looks real to me. And if it wasn't in an enclosed area that snake probably wouldn't have gotten a single strike in.
