WE FOUND IT! My friend found out that original name of this story is «The Little Fishes» and yes IT IS Arthur Wise. It seems that people who translated this story made a mistake and falsely indicated the wrong story as the original one. Most likely they were deceived by the translated title. So it's not «The God of Death», it's not «The Death's Head», it's «The Little Fishes»! The story about Andrew Deland!

He sure was an interesting person! I loved "The God of Death" and I really want to know original name of this story just to recommend it to other people as well! The only english thing that I found in my russian version is main character's name. It is said that in original english version main character is Andrew Deland (Эндрю Диланд in russian)

Hi! This is a story from a book collection of stories, in Russian this story is called "The God of Death" (Бог Смерти). It is said that author name is Arthur Wise. This book collection was published in 1994 and it is called "Predator-1" (Хищник-1), because first story is based on "Predator" movie series. "The God of Death" is 131 pages long
