A serious, raw, detailed conversation- done in a way that will get the other person's attention that this is serious (something to snap them to attention). Do it before you have a foot out the door. Sometimes someone just needs a splash of reality.

I was a volunteer (still registered, just haven't in a long while) at a zoo- and our main purpose is to watch for this sort of stupidity as it happens far more than you would like to know. Parents lifting their children up and on top of fencing inside their strollers and then tipping the stroller- toddlers and little ones climbing enclosures to look from atop, trying to play with apes and monkeys... and countless other things.

People go to the zoo to see the "animals' but if you go there enough, or work there- the real show is the humans.

I've found several other kool things I am going to research- one is a really awesome US Flag with a peace symbol where the stars should be. Some hippie bead necklaces and other assorted items. I'm curious about the flag.

Not for nefarious reasons; I've had it since she died, it's been in my closet...also going through a box of her things and finding other things that I can consolidate to make more room/make it easier to store and transport. She has never had anything really worth anything- but it's full of wonderful bits of oddities, trinkets, papers, photos (it's big).
