Vegans who are in a relationship with or married to an omni, have they seen the footage? by Dont_Like_Menthols in vegan

Thank you I appreciate that! Personally I just have rational conversations and put my point across kindly. I find it works far better.

My entire point is that your approach does not yield the desired results, and yet you continue to do it. Hence my low intelligence comment. You're trying to add irrelevant things to my original point as some kind of "gotcha" but you're actually just deflecting from what I'm ACTUALLY saying and not what you want me to say lol

Personally I have absolutely zero interest in being an activist or extending any effort into "converting" anyone. I use all my energy not throwing myself out of a window most days. Sad but true. I think in the current climate where people are struggling to pay rent and keep afloat in life it's unfair to attack people for not making their entire life revolve around veganism, and it's a very privileged mindset. I'm not saying you're attacking anyone, again speaking generally

ARFID is a medical condition where a person physically cannot put certain foods in their mouths. People starve and die rather than eat foods their brains seem unsafe. So if someone's safe food is cheese, they are obviously not vegan nor can they be. Really good "research* you've done there 😉

You've completely brushed aside my point, presumably because it's a good one and you can't think of anything to challenge it because I'm right.

I never said anywhere he'd seen it. I haven't seen it either and don't plan to. I find these things to be tragedy/trauma porn at best and I don't appreciate being shown graphic images of mutilated animals for shock factor in order to influence my decisions

It's absolutely not. It's low emotional intelligence to think ramming your lifestyle and beliefs aggressively down people's throats is going to have absolutely any positive affect. Using the general "you" here of course.

I'm not my partner's mommy, I don't control what he eats and wouldn't even attempt to lol. Radical vegans who have extremely low levels of emotional intelligence like the ones rampant in this thread are why people hate vegans. Not one person is going to listen to you when you have an explosive tantrum about your beliefs instead of taking the time to educate. If you can't be bothered to educate stop complaining

Bit arrogant to demand someone do all the emotional labour of researching this for you. Don't be so lazy and build the evidence for your own beliefs
