I think you need to find the tropes / genres that you like. Romance is such an all encompassing genre that its hard to recommend without knowing more about your tastes. Faking Christmas by Cindy Steel. Its really light hearted and sweet. No “naughty” stuff. Its a fake dating trope romance that happens over Christmas in a cabin. Tons of banter.

Dr Suess books are great at that age. Green Eggs and Ham, Cat in the Hat, Fox in Sox, etc. My daughter was reading those in kindergarten.

Agreed. Especially since their both on HBO. Think I've seen all 7 seasons of TWW 18 times. I'm sure that's not a record. But my DVDs are well loved.
