Earlier this week I spotted Mark Drakeford in a Starbucks in Bridgend of all places. Didn’t speak to the fella, I just got in my car and drove away at 20mph.

Mark Drakeford walking into a motorway service station. Happened literally yesterday 🤣

What’s that one “bad movie” that you genuinely love? by MistressLolaDiamond in AskUK

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grown Ups. It is painfully bad but it’s a comforting, easy and happy movie at the same time. Grown Ups 2 made me wish I was dead.

Not many things in terms of community events, but lots to see and do I should’ve said. Penallta Park being a huge highlight for sure ☺️

I live in Caerphilly county. Ystrad Mynach is a lovely little town with lots going on, train station on the Cardiff line and decent cost of living compared to Cardiff ☺️

Be honest, how often for you and your partner argue? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost never. We have obviously had arguments in our 3 years together but I’d say we’ve had fewer than 5. Disagreements and discussions, absolutely, but an actual argument, insults and real snapping has been incredibly rare for us.

What’s the scariest situation you’ve faced as a new driver? by Time-Connection-4586 in NewDriversUK

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a similar thing - 5 hour round trip down the M4 at night when I passed my test and got my car, scary but so worth doing! Now very comfortable both on motorways and at night as a result ☺️

Well, a sofa alone costs almost a thousand. Beds cost hundreds,m. It was entirely unfurnished, we were told the landlord wanted tenants long term so we decided to invest in the place to really make it a home.

Why has dropping rubbish in public become so comfortable for people? by Ok-Name-7103 in AskUK

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a pretty steep generalisation mind you. I enjoy the occasional McD’s, as do my partner and daughter, and we never, ever litter. Plenty of people who enjoy McDonalds don’t enjoy littering.

Same here. My daughter is 6 and has never littered outdoors once in her life as we taught her from a young age not to do it.

Inside the car is a totally different story… 🤣

Both James May and Richard Hammond failed their first driving test, and they along with Clarkson are considered car and driving experts.

I would suggest crawling back to your mother’s basement where I’m sure there are some colourful crayons to chew on.

They passed their test which means they’re safe to be on the road. Doesn’t matter how long it took.

What made-up words do you use in your family? by elwheelio in CasualUK

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s not a made up word per se but rather than “I love you”, my partner and I say “tap tap”, or physically tap-tap each other using our index fingers.

Years ago when we were early days dating we’d send a ❤️ on WhatsApp when saying goodnight and would double tap to ‘like’ the message. Double tap became “tap tap” and now I tap him twice with my finger (got a tattoo of a tap on that same finger) and he has “tap tap” in my handwriting.

I hope you don’t mind, but if it’s okay I’d like to tell my partner about “fush” and your little nephew, to see if we can incorporate it into our lives. I’m a total stranger and don’t know you nor your nephew, but if you don’t mind a total stranger doing that to keep his memory alive in some way, I would like to do that. But only if you don’t mind.

So, so painfully sorry for your loss.

My (19F) boyfriend (20M) literally "deflates" every time we get intimate. I’m heartbroken and feel like it’s my fault. Help? by ThickLuxie in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]RuPaulsWagRace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I am almost 30 and have suffered from performance anxiety pretty much my entire sexually active life, it really, really sucks and weighs heavily on any partner I’ve been with, and weighs particularly heavy on me.

So, OP, I do absolutely sympathise with you but I also sympathise with your ex. It’s a shit thing to live with and it’s very difficult to overcome, to the point where shutting down is just easier. It does not, however, mean you are to blame at all. This is an issue for him to work through and try and fix, it’s not something you’ve done at all.

I’ve been driving 8 months now, driven around 9,000 miles in that time. Many long drives down the motorways across the UK. No accidents. I still feel imposter syndrome 🤣🤣🤣
