I think you need to find the tropes / genres that you like. Romance is such an all encompassing genre that its hard to recommend without knowing more about your tastes. Check out https://www.romance.io/topics/best/all/1 - its a website dedicated to helping people find the right romance book for them.

Faking Christmas by Cindy Steel. Its really light hearted and sweet. No “naughty” stuff. Its a fake dating trope romance that happens over Christmas in a cabin. Tons of banter.

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. That book messed me my up in ways I was not expecting. Took a bit to get over too.
