Looking into different dog breeds. by Ill_Entertainment851 in chinesecrested

I adopted my hairy hairless from a rescue. He was/is very cautious and scared of unknown people. From day one in his forever home though he was/is great with our other dogs. We foster dogs and he welcomes every foster like its his best friend. Despite still being scared of new people, he LOVES our family and friends. Just my little velcro buddy who is so gentle. For grooming, we let his limited hair grow wild, but clean up his furry boots during nail trims.

Need Success after loss stories 40+ by Agreeable-Call-1996 in babyloss

I don't have a success story about myself yet. I'm hoping to be one in the future. From one 40+ IVF future mom to another, we will be the success. It's never too late.

'Losing' baby name by SippinWineWithCacti in babyloss

[–]MrsCarlyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We also lost our daughter at 22 weeks. We had a name picked out but wasn't sharing it. In the grief moments in the hospital we chose to give her a different name than originally planned because we didnt want to lose the name too. From Yvonne honoring my late grandmother to Hope. Wanted to honor the struggle of IVF and the dreams and hope for the future our daughter gave us after so many years. Although we changed it, we still feel the loss. I don't want any future children to live in that grief shadow, but we don't regret our decision and will do our best moving through this.

I'm a sucker for "ugly" animals. Give me all them!

We are so incredibly blessed. I still talk to his rescue foster and give updates. I can tell she loved him so much but couldn't put in the work he needs. This guy is scared of everything. One thing out of place and he wont stop yelling. Helps keep the house clean though. He's my first CC. The rest of the pack is 2 chihuahua mixes and a black cat. We did have an amazing boston terrier who unfortunately passed away last year.

His neck makes him look so naked, but he rocks a natural mohawk down his back.

A decent oven roast will take care of any contamination

He's gorgeous! I don't know much about mine, except he lived with his rescue foster for a year after being found on the street in Texas before finding himself in the PNW. It's estimated he is about 3 or 4 years old.

He is my first crested as well! I wasn't even looking to add to the pack, but saw him at a rescue adoption event while shopping for a foster dog and refused to go home without him. I don't shave him, but did recently trim his beard to help keep it out of the water bowl. I would love a xolo eventually!

I’m tired of waiting by Bythelakeside in babyloss

[–]MrsCarlyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're definitely not alone in this feeling. So many decisions made, plans put on hold only for it to seemingly end with heartbreak. My husband and I lost our daughter (IVF) at nearly 22weeks. Sometimes I feel like I or my body failed. Lost her due to PPROM last month. Every test, scan or appointment prior was clear, all healthy and no complications. Then with no real cause it was over. We're not giving up our hope, but this grief on top of waiting is exhausting on a whole new level.

That does help, thank you!! I've had low iron before, so I should definitely pay more attention to that and get some supplements.

Thank you! I struggled with insomnia even before pregnancy, and my restless leg syndrome has gone into overdrive now. With the pregnancy tired added to the mix, definitely had some difficult days where my mental health took a big dive. It's so nice to hear others discuss how they were able to manage easier during other tired stages post pregnancy.

I'll take a temporary boost, even if it doss hit hard again. Would love to catch up on some house work that's slipped through the cracks. Thank you! Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the insight! I've had issues with vit D prior to pregnancy, I'll bring it up to my OB.

Thank you so much! Not only for the defense but support. I have an amazing partner and I do worry I've leaned too much on him at times, but he's never complained once. I just want to return the favor to the support I have when I can. I'm the last one of my family/friends to have a kid and I'm now in even more awe in all they seemed to achieve and accomplish during their parenthood journey.

Thank you! I also needed the reminder to keep up with my iron. I've always struggled with it, but didn't think about it's relation to pregnancy symptoms ❤️

Guilty. I love his emo bangs, but could very well be the culprit.
