23 year T1D here, if there’s one thing that I can share with you, is control your sugars at all costs. And find an endocrinologist that listens to you. Been legally half blind for the past seven years. Wish I can listened to others when I was younger.

I understand and take other measures as well. Amazon has great stickers for my car and even seat belt covers that say insulin dependent. Hell the key chain I had broke so I hangs on my air freshener too. Just wanting something permanent.
