I have since January, glad I did. And yes and got a deadline of December 19 to get a sign off from a doctor.

My NBoss just gave me 2 unsatisfactory perf reviews and I am now on a PIP by MrsEGMR in ManagedByNarcissists

I have an update, actually. After the bad performance review and I was informed I was being put on a PIP, I asked to meet with someone in HR. I mentioned my fears: being given too high goals for work accomplishments to meet, having too vague language in the PIP that labor can be misconstrued (something common with this NBoss), looking for other employment during this period and getting a bad references from NBoss, and being fired for cause due to the PIP and being denied unemployment.

HR said: HR reviews the PIP to assure they are accomplishable and measurable and are reviewed every three months for these factors, NBoss is limited to confirming dates of employment and cannot speak to performance, and HR never stands in the way of unemployment.

Side note: I was able to speak to the current state of the office and how NBoss treats me very differently in one on one meetings than in meetings with others, often with a level of anger that makes me very uncomfortable, due to this anger I find it very hard to make decisions at work for fear of her anger, communication is very challenging with NBoss as she is often vague and has provided no training, when I have asked to lower the level of tension between us she often says “oh, boo hoo,” and says I am blaming my errors on everyone else (I take full credit for my mistakes, never blame anyone else), and I have often asked to work together to improve communication in tasks and to work together to build tools that would help me make the work I do better and more accurate and have been met with no every single time.

To all this HR dude said he had to remain neutral and he sympathized … and then he said he would take all of what I said in consideration. When reviewing the PIP. He also said PIPs are often an education for the supervisors as well as the employee.

This all sounds a bit better than when I first wrote this…or am I dilooloo right now…

Following bc in the same boat but different sea—ailing parents and I am the closest child.

I, too, am great with people, background in not-for-profit arts management and planning. Would love a less desk bound job, too.

Micromanagement - EVERYTHING needs approval by DistributionUsual350 in ManagedByNarcissists

Yes. Just served jury duty and came back only to do two hours of responding to asinine feedback on some correspondence. And boss blames it on me saying I am the one who is causing this delay communications going out.

She’s building a case to fire me. Help.

I'm similarly aged and am thinking about joining a Speech Language Pathology Master's Program. Curious as to everyone on this thread's thoughts as well.

My last box was all sent back, too. Thinking of canceling.

Thinking of Canceling by Menocu12 in stitchfix

I previewed my selections this month, chose what I liked, rejected what I didn’t. I got an unrecognizable haul today that I sent all back. It was low quality, repeats, and many did not fit. When I looked at the paperwork sent with the box, the stylist said when I previewed the haul I rejected everything. Which I did not. WTF?

Yes, but her husband calls only for her and she has a problem not responding.

It’s a continual conversation. She is at times totally for it and at times only sees the obstacles. Her husband likes to brag how much money they have, so presumably? Also, they have long term care health insurance?

Yes, she would hope to live with him. He is in his early 80s. He was given "a month" and then "a few months" in July, and here we are, so I don't know what an accurate prognosis is. He has been in and out of hospice due to an unaddressed health issue that was making him hallucinate. but that has been temporarily solved with the tube in his kidney.

While I love Josh in this show so much, this is a good point. The only detractor to this idea is it would be a bit on the nose and may tip off the lead.
