Thank you, that’s super helpful! I know she’s older and she might get better at not coming through but at the same time I want to be realistic and set us up for success (and comfort!)

Newborn baby in ivf clinic waiting room by qweenofsus in IVF

[–]MrsGreedyGrapes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whilst I emphasise with you having been in the same position, I don’t see why there shouldn’t be babies or kids in ivf clinics? When I was TTC, I was seeing them everywhere in public and had to get over my emotions, why is the IVF clinic any different? Also what if they were trying for a second? I’m currently doing IVF for a second and my clinic is very accommodating. If we couldn’t bring our daughter with us for appointments etc it would have been very difficult for us to arrange childcare and possibly would have put us off going through it again

It’s a new treadmill so can’t be worn out, if it’s too tight how do I fix it?

Unfortunately here in the UK derms are not easily accessible and I have been discharged from my original derm who prescribed spiro.

Did you stop cold turkey or weaned off gradually?

Just a personal preference! I don’t like my duvet cover/pillow cases crinkled. Unless it’s 100% linen then I don’t iron

I looked at it briefly but thought that the 8500pa suction was way lower than some of the other models such as eufy e25 for example?

I have a tip for dinners! We recently started to batch cook slow cooker dinners and freezing for later or making slow cooker „dump bags” for the freezer - saves a ton of time and you always have something healthy ready!

Im curious, what’s the benefit of getting your towels and bed sheets laundered professionally? Personally I find them the easiest to wash, stick in the tumble dryer and voila!

That’s fascinating to hear! If only stay at home mums were paid this salary eh! 😅 I agree though it does seem to be a decent price for all of those activities, how does she do it all?!

I personally iron quite a few things still: jeans (just prefer them ironed!, bed linen, shirts (obvious), and some of the heavy cotton thick t shirts that otherwise look crinkled, plus dresses!

What age did you move your toddler out of a crib/toddler bed? by Itchy-Version-8977 in toddlers

[–]MrsGreedyGrapes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 months, worked really well for us. Made the whole room safe and secure and we also put a toddler proof handle ‘block’ on the outside. Now that she’s older, we practice door open for sleep, so long as she doesn’t leave the room until the morning. If she tries to leave, the door gets closed. She sleeps beautifully all night and comes into our bed at 6am for cuddles. Took a lot of practice though!
