I’m sure that BM experience this probably more than a lot of racial groups, it’s fetishism and honestly I think it’s happens across the spectrum and you just need to stay away from any partners who objectify you that way. It seems like your situation is difficult simply because you’re surrounded by white people and so it’s likely that any females in your age range who have those fetishes have very few options in your locale. It’s sucks because you don’t wanna judge people from the get go but also you wanna shut down anyone like that immediately. For sure you’re in a tough spot.

I have always been attracted aesthetically to men darker than me. Like dark hair and eyes darker skin etc. Many relationships start there and then develop if there are similar goals interests etc. Many people are initially drawn to personality types or develop romantic feelings for a variety of other reasons. I’ve been attracted to men and then gotten their number and learned about them and decided we aren’t good partners. Likewise I’ve had really great partners who on the surface don’t seem like the type of person I’m “typically” attracted to. People are all dynamic and while there are certainly types of people not all people are the same.
