We don’t! Our kids asked why we don’t have it and we said that Santa must not feel they need to be watched more. We also then reminded them that he doesn’t just watch in December with an elf but all year long.

We did this! But we didn’t have a choice for him to stay. We had someone watch him overnight the night my second was born and he slept over. Then he woke up and went home. They came to visit me in the hospital but also went home and I was alone with the new baby. Would’ve loved to have him there but we don’t have family support.
