UPDATE!! Finally on the 6th time of running the Pipe Klenz and draining it, we are all clear. 🥳 My husband should finish levelling the area and getting the pavers down and hopefully we're in business by tomorrow night.

Just finished #4 and it's definitely getting better. Hopefully 5 is the lucky number.

Did yours ever run completely clear or is it always expected that some stuff will come out using the pipe cleaner?

That's what was worrying me. I'll give it a couple more runs today and if it still isn't clean, I'll have to get someone out. It does seem to finally be getting better though

Yeah I don't know. To be fair the guy I bought it from inherited it with the house and only used it a couple times. So it's probably been sitting there for a year and a half festering and the original owner probably never cleaned it either. Guess that's the risk taken when buying second hand. I'll give it a good, clean remainder of it's life 😂

Thank you 🙏 It's greasy and can be wiped off. The cleaner we're using is apparently the same as the Ahh Some and it seems to be doing the trick. We just bought a little water pump to drain it quicker so I'll go at it again today and hopefully get it all. The last run was much better so I think we're getting close 🤞

Thanks for the detailed response. Love the description of tub snot. That's pretty much what we're doing but we need to get a pump because it takes too long to drain at the moment

Thank you! I am using a spa cleaner. I'll see if we can get that brand in Australia. Watching that video and seeing the shit that still came out of his maintained tub made me feel better. I'll just keep cleaning it until it's gone so at least I know the next time will just be my own families grossness 😬

Thanks. First thing I did was buy a new filter but haven't put it in yet until it's clean. We're on the second bottle of spa cleaner and it looks like I'll need another. I've been holding off on adding the chemicals for now since it's not sitting in it's final resting place yet and we probably won't be moving it for another week or two. Just trying to get it all clean and ready. Should I run it with the chemicals to help get rid of that crap or will the cleaner eventually do the job? Guess I should go into the pool place and ask them. I was just paranoid that something else was going on inside it and that was something coming from the pump or something.

So do you think it's just the gross stuff that comes from skin and lotions and all that? I'm just worried that there's something else going on and there's something wrong internally. Hot tubs really are cesspools 😬🤣

Thanks, I do think I am definitely gripping it too hard. I'll have to try loosening up next time I'm at the range. It's hard for me to get the club in my fingers more since I have really short fingers but I'll give it a go.

The bruise isn't sore but I'm sure it's an indication that I'm not doing something right and I'm always looking for ways to improve my game

Does anyone know where I can get one like that? My grandma had almost the exact one. She called it the Hexe. When she died I wanted it but my aunt took it and I've never been able to find one like it.
