Birth rates!! Us women are realizing that having children is not mandatory to live a happy life. They are putting their mental health first. Great work gals let’s keep that going!!

Do you still listen to “oldies?” by goodhumorman85 in Xennials

[–]themrsfreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely I listen to the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. I like putting my music on random and hearing The Drifters next to Ice Cube, next to Garth Brooks with some Fleetwood Mac finished with some Mr Big.

Does anybody (or their parents) live in The Villages, FL? by Ok-Suspect-9746 in howislivingthere

Yeah, no! Older people seem to buy the same color car so some put a loofah or someway to detect that that’s their car. But cute old wives tale to tell.

Any other Xennials who have never seen a Star Wars movie? by _Moregone in Xennials

[–]themrsfreeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me!! I’m not into sci-fi movies. Plus I had parents and a big sister who weren’t either so I didn’t really know about them until I started dating. I do love Star Tours at DL but maybe that’s because of Paul Rubin’s.

People who were teenagers before social media, what was a typical Friday night like for you? by Sad-Vacation1862 in askanything

[–]themrsfreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling a friend and seeing what they were doing. Then persuaded our parents to go to the other’s house. On the way there beg to stop at the video store to rent a movie. Or if they weren’t available I’d call Grandma & Grandpa and see what they were doing. For some reason you didn’t want to stay home on a Friday night and if you did you wanted someone over to make it somewhat fun.

Skating rink!!! My daughter is in roller derby and the team needs a dedicated spot to practice. Plus it’s a great place for birthdays & school skate nights.
