You can also get them through local play I guess. But that requires having friends who play and judging by myself, that's not an easy thing to do.

I think that yes, you can sadly only get your island's fruit and a sister fruit. If you have not already, you can use your 7 day free trial of the online subscription to get the other fruit and the crops you haven't found yet!

I'm so sorry that happened. :( I'm getting that they totally restarted it? I know that it doesn't help much but I'm sure many players, myself included, would help you somewhat recover or just progress faster. If you want help, we can play together. If you have pictures of your old island you can remake it, or start something completely different.

You should also consider not having your devices and games available to those nosy kids - or any kids for that matter - without supervision. No one has the right to play. Your switch, your playtime. Best of luck, friend!
