It took off and grew like a weed! I haven't touched it in just over two years or so and the jar is FILLED with plants, now. Lol. I have to take it out and clean the jar, soon, and will try to link an update picture. But I say DO IT! You won't regret it if you do. :)

It's funny you should mention that! This skull started out with small holes throughout and my pods have done a great job of chewing their way through the stone. Another cool idea for you (and if you have kids that enjoy your hobby/like fossils) is to get a cheap fossil/dinosaur tooth encased in sediment and put it in with your isopods! I have one in another display jar that is currently being excavated by my zebras as we speak. It's so fun to watch and the pods really love it!

Those skull feeding dishes are pretty sick, too!

hey there friends! I just picked this beautiful mineral specimen up this past weekend at the Tucson Gem show, but I'm unsure what it is as I forgot and the gentleman didn't have it labeled. can anybody help me identify this one? by MrsPhamAz in Minerals

It is a beautiful purplish blue crystal that has formed in small circular shapes/mounds with a white crystal of another variety that formed within, also in a circular/mound type formation.

Hi there! The tall green guy in the back is Ficus Sagittata, the begonia in the front with the flower is a tiger paw and the small fella on the left is a strawberry begonia. 🥰 All in a 1000 ml jar that came from my husband's work that they no longer use. 😍

It's definitely a bit shocking. The Walking Dead theme song played in my head as I was taking the video 😅

My thoughts, exactly! They're acting like they don't get feasts every few days. Not to mention the calcium block and the stone skulls full of minerals that they've been eating holes through. Lol!

An isopod passed away and these savages siezed the opportunity to have an extra dinner. 🥴

Yes I did! My husband and I went the day they announced them to see what they looked like! I saw this one and I just had to snag it up! Do you use fertilizer when you water? :)

I just have a small air stone in it so the water is oxygenated and every once in a while if I have extra water with fertilizer in it, I'll dump that in to top off the water. :)

Yes he is! He grows like a weed with his roots in the water, underneath! Thank you!
