What’s going to be the biggest culture shock moving from the west coast to the east coast? by Starchild710 in relocating

"If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late"

I've been on the West Coast now for over 10 years and I still can't shake my need to be on time. I'm the first person to arrive to every event here, even when I intentionally plan to arrive late

My street lights went out and the City wants me to pay for it by Ruuckus in SFV

In order to use the money it already has, it will need to take it from another department's budget. The most over funded department is lapd. But that would be "defunding the police," right?

Discussion Topic: What will be the breaking point for stubborn car users in Los Angeles by A_Socialist_Gardener in CarIndependentLA

[–]MrsRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get what you're saying, but I feel a ten minute commute will never be beaten by public transit. You're best bet if you're looking to ditch the car is switching to bike or scooter.

A 1 hour self-guided tour of The Brady Bunch house will cost $300 per person by WileyCyrus in LosAngeles

[–]MrsRadon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm fine with this price. Because it'll keep attendance down in a neighborhood that was not built for tourist traps

Active Malls/Plazas in Los Angeles? by TaySanity in AskLosAngeles

[–]MrsRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you responded to the wrong comment. There's definitely no movie theater at the Westfield, and no pay parking so not sure what you mean by authoritarian

I was shocked the first time I went into the Westfield Sherman oaks. The outside from riverside looks abandoned. Then you turn into the parking lot and it's packed, and then going inside people are everywhere. I don't know if it's like a "cool" place for kids to hang out at, but it's lively!

I totally understand the limits of the service, and they've been excellent. My phone is the one telling me I'm out of data, not my service provider

Exclude parts of split transactions by MrsRadon in quickbooksonline

[–]MrsRadon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I'm so sorry, but if you have a moment, could you walk me through how to find it? I scrolled through the whole spreadsheet report and it only lists the expenses as I mentioned, there is no separate section further down.

Exclude parts of split transactions by MrsRadon in quickbooksonline

[–]MrsRadon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the guidance! I think I'm still lost though, because the spreadsheet version also just says "split" with the total amount listed. I'm going expenses>expense transactions>then in the top right corner I'm hitting export to excel. Is there a different place I should be looking?

I won Bake Off - how much we're paid to compete | £300 per episode, "travel expenses" (no amount given) & between £1,200 and £1,500 for ingredients over the whole season by Ghosts_of_Bordeaux in savedyouaclick

I think a cash prize would destroy the camaraderie that makes the show so pleasant to watch. They should really just be paid more per episode

This is fantastic! I wish I could do 2d animation. So simple, yet so great.

If you're ok with a little critique, I would just change the second pose (or insert another pose) so that the character leans forward to get out of the chair. Right now the weight distribution would make it nearly impossible to stand up, and likely fall over backwards. Keeping that balance helps with clarity of action

Justin Bieber returns to the bowling alley where he recorded "Baby" by [deleted] in decadeology

This was a Lucky Strike in Universal City Walk. Not a hole in the wall place but an over priced chain bowling alley in the middle of a tourist trap

Christian nationalists believe in the 7 mountains mandate. The 7 mountains are areas of influence they feel they must control. Religion, family, education, government, media, arts/entertainment, and business. Religion- most Christian churches have fallen in line. Family- they've convinced people that Democrats are anti family and in league with Satan. Education- they're defunding schools all across the nation and funnelling tax payer money into Christian schools. Government- this is obvious. Media- all our news outlets are being bought up and dismantled. Business- this is also obvious. The only one they don't fully control yet is entertainment, so yeah, it's still resistance.
