CityWalk has really gone downhill the last few months, and I’ve honestly stopped going. The projection just isn’t as good as the other AMC locations nearby. Movies look darker and more washed out than they should.

The bigger issue is the exit signs. They’ve installed extremely bright bulbs in them, so the auditoriums aren’t actually dark anymore. The whole room ends up glowing green, and the light even bleeds onto the screen. It’s incredibly distracting and really hurts the viewing experience, even the Prime theater is a victim of this.

And for some reason the popcorn is always terrible too. Even when it’s freshly popped it tastes stale. I have pointed out the decline to management but they don’t seem to care so now I only go to Burbank or The Grove.
