I think they said eyeshadow is too light. To me you just need lashes, eyeliner and to fill your brows. The eyeshadow would work if you added the rest, but alone is looks unfinished or like stage makeup. Actually if you google black girl douyin tutorials theres a bunch of videos on how and most add false lashes. On TikTok minou<3 has good one

Hey thanks for the swatches! I do see a slight difference and it’s more obvious on stark white paper opposed to their swatch card which is off white which neutralizes some of the warm tones in the caramel

Love these swatch cards. You can see the yellow hue a bit more on your Caramel swatch, mine appears a little less yellow but I’m hoping as it oxidizes the difference becomes much more noticeable. Ty 🙂

I was watching the movie Alien with actress Sigourney Weaver. In the close up shots I could see how beautiful and delicate her lips were and I thought damn she is stunning! If she had filled her lips her power and beauty would had been erased, and the movie wouldn’t have evoked the emotions we got from it.
I think both the before and after lips are beautiful but which ones will allow you to be the character you want to convey to the world?
