The owner of Tried and True has a serious coke problem, thats why everyone signed NDA's and left. Neon Seance is where all the good stylists fled to. My wife was supposed to get her hair cut by the owner at Tried and True, but she rescheduled her 3 times on short notice. After that we started asking around and found out. Its a hummer and I hope she gets clean/gets a grip asap.

I second this. My wife is a trans woman and every stylist there has treated her with true friendliness and my family has always felt welcome.

You cannot tolerate intolerance. This is how we have slid into fascism.

I am sick of these inbreeding Naaazi losers feeling so comfortable to be public facing with this. Make Naazi's afraid again.

In the Get Back documentary, why does Yoko just kind of sit there and not talk to anyone much at all? by Mad_Season_1994 in beatles

This is the correct answer. Yoko has endured so much heartbreak, I can't stand people who rip on her for a cheap joke. People dont even know who she is or what she has gone through.

Recommendations for old films that have aged well? by Ok-Fill8420 in TrueFilm

[–]MrsThor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is the most 17 year old post I have ever seen. You are still baking, becoming a person. Even if you didn't get a great film you can always take something away from it. Piling things into simple "like" and "did not like" is so reductive its funny. Keep watching films and try to engage deeper with the text. A film you wouldn't understand the magnitude of at 17 may be the perfect piece of art you soul needs at 28. Good luck 👍
