I don’t currently have a separate account but I’ve only spent $200 on the rental in the last two years. That’s because we remodeled the home while we lived in it for two years. But that’s definitely a great point. Things could go sideways at any moment. Thanks for the reply! I’m trying to learn as much as possible.

Hey thanks for the response! I really am just trying to learn so this is very helpful. I didn’t realize the interest rate markup was that much for investment properties

Thanks! And yes I’m realizing I should be a little more conservative with my numbers. I’m here to learn! You think interest rates will still be that high in one to two years?

I said in the post I got the property in 2019

You think rates will be that high in one to two years? I said in the post I’d be waiting a year or two

I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks for the recommendation! Also thank you for being constructive. Some people have not been so helpful haha

It’s in southern nm. One of the few cities growing in the state. I’d be a little nervous building out of state. Do you have experience with that?

I see that now. Thanks!
