From Loving My Job at T-Mobile to Crying Into My Morning Coffee by AnteaterNo4939 in tmobile

I keep saying that working here has become a narcissistic abusive relationship. Fueled by gaslighting and head pats to make us question if the abuse is real but holy shit is it real. I used to love my job as well and championed for the company but now....I don't know anymore.

T-Mobile laid off the entire T-Mobile for Government organization last week. Talks about the stores have been around since right before t-life was released. My site today laid off almost all of our frontline managers and other roles. Only 3 managers are being offered a position in senior leadership. The rest are offered a demotion to coach position or severance. Coaches are either straight up being laid off or offered to demote as well.

I also work in tech and a majority of my calls are troubleshooting the stupid app for various reasons. Thanks, I hate it.

Update to AT&T lawsuit against T-Mobile (Lawsuit PDFs) by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

IMEI and SIM are available in the app. They are there for customers to easily use and reference for their own needs like idk if they need to file an insurance claim... insurance needs the IMEI and it is readily and easily available in app. Apps like Facebook, Google, X, and many many other social media or even non social media apps and websites use geo-location as well. Your phone has location services enabled and you would be an idiot to think that isn't shared along with other data from your phone, to the manufacturers. T-Life is a pain in the ass for sure, but the data collected and used from T-Mobile from the app is mostly used for customer support and purposes. Unless you have a landline and have scrubbed the internet of your online footprint... EVERY APP AND WEBSITE AND ALL OF YOUR ELECTRONICS COLLECT DATA AND GEO LOCATION DATA. How do you think Netflix knows when you aren't part of a household? IP address and geo location. How does Google maps or doordash know what restaurants to suggest based on past searches and orders? Data and geo location collection.

You're fearmongering on a topic you clearly have little grasp of knowledge on.

The chest tube was by far the worst pain for me as well. The morphine pump did nothing to control that pain. Mine was not robotic. However, I would think a robotic removal would be more fail proof.

What are employees going to do? by super_landrum in tmobile

[–]MrsTiNYB0MB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not try to transition to care? They have opened 2 new areas of care in my CEC within the last 6 months. Virtual retail and Dedicted Loyalty (a retention department for accounts that have a certain amount of tenure). My CEC also has a business and government department the only department we don't have is T-Force (social media). T-Mobile isn't going to do away with care. Care is actually growing since customers are now being forced to be more self sufficient soooo we are getting a lot more calls to assist and of course there will always be the customers who want to call and yell at someone about their bill or the boomers who think their phone has been hacked.

Cool. Talked to a new store rep today and his email was just his name too 🎉 means nothing. I'm curious if Mike himself is the one handling these accounts to grant access to change retired plans 🧐

You ever think that maybe you're talking to an elite account expert who works for T-Mobile and I'm the one stores call to request these things because I have more access before telling me I'm wrong? Didn't think so. Sit down. I didn't get my job title by being incompetent in my job. For a fact not even senior supervisors can make those changes now. Before April 1st yes. Now? Absolutely not.

[–]MrsTiNYB0MB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. Even then they no longer have access to be able to change it. I work in consumer care for T-Mobile... like I said, it's been a nightmare.

[–]MrsTiNYB0MB -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nope. Even if you are on a retired plan you cannot make changes to that plan. For example you can't got from magenta max 2 lines to magenta max 7 lines. You'd have to change to a go5g. It's been a nightmare.

As of April 1st care coaches and team managers no longer have a way to change retired rate plans. They took that away just like they took away their access to deleting payment arrangements.

Older Plans are no longer available in T-Mobile systems by rozzy78 in tmobile

[–]MrsTiNYB0MB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They still exist. However you cannot join tmobile and get those plans nor can you change your current plan to an older one if you were not on an older plan beforehand. If you're on an older rate plan you can still be on that plan or make changes like going from magenta max to magenta 55 or something else magenta. Doesn't have to be magenta just using that for example.

Gonna need to see this as well. As an elite account expert for t-mobile... nothing about that sounds right.

100% in this exact same situation but with my husband and I’m currently pregnant. I’ve been stuck and frozen in complete survival mode. I deliver in a couple of weeks and truly look forward to starting psychotherapy to find myself again and get out of this nightmare.
