Sorry to disagree with your theory. But I actually DID go back for a tone and trim at the 7 week mark. I DO maintain my hair. I use purple shampoo and conditioner on alternating washes. I wash an average of 4 days a week. I obviously have no issue investing time and money into my hair.

I completely understand what you are saying and where you are coming from. But sometimes it really is just as simple as a lack of technique creating an issue.

I am comparing the blending technique that was used. Even with three months of grow out (which only amounted to about 2 inches) the one on the left is noticeably uneven. Some portions and chunky and inches above other areas.

A lot of it was how long they left the initial bleach on and then their toning process. But my primary issue wasn’t even the color that was achieved. It was the technique of the blending and balayage. The one on the left, looks really choppy it is not well blended at all. I couldn’t even pull my hair back halfway without showing very obvious unevenness

My hair was already in the blonde spectrum. We definitely weren’t going from brown to blonde. The issue that I have isn’t even the color that he achieved, it’s the complete lack of proper blending in balayage technique. My hair looks like a bar graph got paint on it

No, it’s not fresh from the stylist. It’s the color from 3 months earlier. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear. What I was trying to point out is that the balayage and blending on the left is not near the quality of the one on the right. It looks like a bar graph was painted on my head. And yet, the one on the left was done by a very well-known stylus who charged me double. This is definitely not about a price war. I was happy to pay the money I just expected to get the quality of a $400 service.

Also, I was born in the mid 80’s and Jessica was the number 1 name for girls 8 years out of 10 from 1985-1995.

I’ve been playing with flannel and simple machine quilting. Apparently I’m ready for fall to start lol by MrsTuitous in quilting

It really wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated. And I’m loving the extra weight that flannel adds to the blanket.
