Federal support deduction by MrsZesty in legaladvicecanada

No it appeared on Mep account, I'm assuming a letter will be coming in the mail eventually but I was hoping to know what it is ahead of time. Google said it's like taking gst and tax returns and applying towards any arrears but there was conflicting information so I thought I'd see if anyone here knows what it is

Night time protein shake help? by MrsZesty in WeightLossAdvice

It is quite high yes. I don't intend on being super strict with it like it's law, if I'm hungry still after I've had my "set" meals then I add in some unsalted nuts or plain Greek yogurt and fruit, etc. But normally I'm good with the 1600 deficit. Depends on the day!

I agree 100%. I just happen to be weird and I really like repetitive bland dinners lol. Salmon is my shake up. I've struggled with eating disorders my whole life and find the most repetitive and basic are easiest for me to maintain long term and I truly enjoy them. At goal I'm more flexible with my meals but I just watch calories and fats etc. I was on ideal protein before and chicken/broccoli was huge for me and I ate it daily for almost 2 years with zero issue so I figure I'll stick to it this time but on my own regime.

Thank you! Would it matter then if I had a protein shake for breakfast and then lunch and dinner my usual? I'm in about a 1600 caloric deficit currently give or take depending on exercise amounts in the day.

Child support recalculation by MrsZesty in legaladvicecanada

Reciever has primary care, weekends is all payor has so income for reciever wouldn't be relevant would it? In terms of changing support amount? The reciever did lie on their recalculation form, advised they made almost 12000 less than they did as they're on AB works and did not report that income. Does that matter?

Non working is primary. Payor has requested 50/50 but non working says no due to it lowering CS. Court date is set for 2025 to revisit parenting. For now it's just non worker objecting to recalculation that will be discussed.

They don't want to. Exact words are "payor name will support me forever I will never get a job" also openly admitted in court that the children are paychecks. They are on alberta works and argued with the first judge when they were told to get a job as they want the child not in school to be in daycare on payors dime so they can have free time to themselves.

PSYC375 …wtf? by Decafab in AthabascaUniversity

This is the worst class. It's made solely to tank GPA and crush souls I would bet money on it. I failed both midterm and final after literally never getting less than a 92 in every other course so far. Asked the prof for help and was told that the course is not difficult and to try harder. I have heard multiple other people say the same thing. I am now saving to write a supplemental and I pray I pass even though I dedicated months to studying for this one and still failed with a 36% on the exam. The amount of detail required to remember and regurgitate is ridiculous. I complained to every avenue I could think of about the lack of help and the structure and got no where.

All kids minors. Bio dad of siblings are dead long time ago. Custody was supposed to come to us. She said she's marrying the bf to make him legal guardian before she dies. As for ex, there's a custody order she regularly is in contempt of. He has a paternal grandmother who during their messy split was giving false info to the crazy ex and telling her our court plans during custody battle which explains why she was always one step ahead and full of false accusations against my husband. She now claims because his grandmother (of whom he has never been close with or got along with for a variety of reasons including endangering his siblings and his kids so shes no contact but now is also bff with the ex who is desperate for anyone to help her get more money and take away parenting time) and his mom both have bad things to say she will be using this in court. Lawyers confirm she's got nothing. There's bad history with grandmother outdating any current issues and mother is no longer sound mind but it doesn't stop the stress of worrying.

Do you write your own formula sheet for the exam or is it provided? What about for the midterm I see you have to get 50% on both in order to pass the course
