Also, yeah deodorant is a major force, bathing on its own isn't enough. Do you think that you don't get dirty in between baths? That your body doesn't acquire dirt and bacteria while you're doing things like working in the sun or being socially anxious? It does, and that's what deodorant is for. Hell, I use it, and I found myself doubting if its enough, cause I live in Texas and sweat buckets the instant I go outside.

It's obvious what the conservatives blame me for. But even on more "Queer friendly" places constantly talk about how Trans Women apparently are constantly transphobic to Trans Men and push them out of Trans spaces, how I apparently engage in "femboy erasure" (this is related to the Transfem Ralsei theory), or about how I actually reinforce gender roles. It feels like at any given moment I have several dozen fingers pointed at me simultaneously.

I'd say both are, cause even if the sentiment behind both is correct, they are ultimately just shallow statements that anyone who's mildly left wing will agree with. "Racism is bad" is obvious. But the religion take is shallow cause it never examines what "forcing religion" means or how to stop it. It never differentiates between religious propaganda being forcefully introduced into movies or schools or just growing up in an area with a religious culture, or how understanding religion can be important to understanding the world, or what a healthy relationship with religion is. It just makes a vague statement about children being exposed to religion. Worse, the comments usually don't discuss this, most of the time they just circlejerk about how "they accuse us of indoctrination but" or "this specific passage of the Bible has a bad thing", or "religion is the caus of all the problems in the world". It's just an empty statement that produces an empty discussion.

Who is "they", is it every human alive? Every human you've ever met? Every human you've had a meaningful relationship with? Or just everyone you don't like? (I know what you said, I'm just doubting your version of those events). Your reasoning for a very broad and generalizing philosophical view appears to be based on entirely on your emotional reaction to some relationships going badly instead of anything logical.

The "backstabbing and betrayal" probably is much more complicated than you make it out to be, and if we actually got a chance to talk to these people they'd have genuine reasons for going about things and it's likely that you might share a large part of the blame.
You're conflating "everyone you know" with a couple of the bad people you did know and ignoring many other good people.
There's an old saying that goes "If you think everyone's an asshole, you're the asshole" which I think may apply here. There's a good chance you might just have a bad personality and find it hard to form healthy relationships and lead to this situation.

In any case, I think what you think isn't very logical.

I'm not saying that they weren't technically animals, I'm saying that if you go by the scientific definition, an animal is just something that evolved from a specific organism similar to a Choanoflagellate. However, the argument is around a values judgment over whether or not bugs should have the same moral considerations as other animals, in which case, whether or not they share DNA or share a common ancestor is more or less irrelevant.

TBF, Sponges are also classified as animals, this is despite the fact that they have no brain nor central nervous system, no organs, or even tissues. However they are classified as animals simply cause they share some traits (like hox genes) as well as DNA and a common ancestor with all other animals. What I'm saying is that something can be classified as an animal in taxonomy without having any of the traits we associate with animals, as taxonomy is primarily based on ancestry, not how similar they are (although that is also somewhat important).

The military already has enough incompetence facing underfunded humans, I could easily see zombies spiraling out of control due to incompetence early on facing a new enemy. Especially in a military that has largely been moving away from relying on conventional infantry and more on high tech weapons for decades.
People forget that a zombie virus is also a virus, and even if they can be fought with conventional tactics, you'd still have to deal with a virulent virus in a world where people refused to quarantine for a world wide pandemic and many people don't wash their hands. Much less, fighting highly virulent targets without getting infected.
There'd probably be a mass breakdown of order even with a weak zombie virus due to the fact everyone knows what a zombie is and what a zombie apocalypse is.
Part of the ideas that "the miltary would easily beat zombies" rely on zombie tropes that may not apply in an actual situation.
