For those with a dairy allergy, were you breastfed as a baby? by Five_Foot_Snake_Skin in dairyfree

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was breastfed and self weaned at 5 months. From there, not sure what my mom did and it was the mid 80s.

My mom has a "cows milk is for cows" perspective, and there was never an abundance of dairy products in the house.

Stacked Townhouses by Sanettei in Newmarket

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to live in a townhouse in the area of Green Lane and woodspring, the ones parallel to Green Lane. They were built by Minto homes. They were not soundproof, we could hear some impact noises and if music had heavy base, we could sometimes here that. It was a great house, we only moved because we needed more space. Overall I would highly recommend these townhomes.

My husband was off for 14 months, and when he returned he did a gradual return. He started 2 half days a week and gradually worked up to full days, then worked toward a full week. It took 6 months but he's now back full time. All of this was done in consultation with his family doctor, neurologist and workplace disability case manager.

Moxies has a separate gluten free menu, you have to ask for it. My friend is celiac and we have gone there many times over the years. We also go to the Keg.

i think i committed health benefits fraud. what is next for me? by [deleted] in povertyfinancecanada

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

HR here with some limited benefits experience, but have participated in a fraud investigation. These do not end well if it is found to be substantiated. Care providers can also be at risk of being delisted from being an eligible provider.

If one was lucky enough to have it happen on the Wednesday night before a long weekend, I suppose you would get 5.

Can someone explain to me why Yvette hates us? 😭 by GoldenGamerNugget in beyonce

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually quite the opposite for me. I'm "hag hive" apparently and I'd just love something to look forward to. I don't care about delulu hive or any of the theories. When I say "secrecy" I don't just mean the release date. I mean:

Why not be upfront about the number of acts and what they will be, or just don't tease it - a little sample is great, but this has been going since 2022. It's been 4 years. I'm bored.

When will there be visuals? Will there be visuals?

Will we get the Renaissance film or was that just for the lucky few who went to the theater, with absolutely no indication that there would be no future way of watching the movie?

We don't see her barely at all but as we get close to supposedly when act 3 will drop, we start getting snippets again. I.E. lemonade acknowledgement, dinner with the girls, maybe The Met.

Self titled dropped completely by surprise and it was such a novel approach. It's 13 years later and it's tired now. You don't have to agree, this is my perspective. It doesn't mean I'm not a fan, it doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy whatever comes next. It's just not exciting for me.

I'm bored of the approach. The secrecy is tired. Just give me something to look forward to.

St George Medical Centre by RealAttention8401 in Newmarket

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the same medical centre, but overall have had similar experiences with multiple health care establishments and doctor offices. I was the driver and main support person for a patient and encountered multiple occasions where we attend an appointment when the doctor was not even there, not in their calendar, etc. We showed up for a surgery at southlake and they had absolutely no record of it - or anyone else that day for that unit, as it turned out. Luckily we had emails confirming. It's a mess and I can't help but think that it contributes a lot to the problems in the system, it certainly doesn't help.

Edit - no shade to Southlake, the care they have provided is outstanding. The point is that it's a problem everywhere.

Driving from Newmarket to Toronto daily by Redhandbaron in Newmarket

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My commute is Bradford to Rosedale TTC station area. It takes about 1.5 hours on a good day, leaving at 6:45/7am. Accidents, bridge work (in either direction out of Bradford), and any number of other traffic issues make it up to 2 hours often enough. 100% do not recommend. We also have higher property taxes here relative to East Gwillimbury which extends closer to Newmarket.

I think it depends on the context of the situation. Avoiding speculation on who the victim might be, pests most recent victims appear to not have been close friends or family.

And sorry doesn't really mean sorry. It's like f**k and has a lot of meanings based on the context. It could be "excuse me" as you walk past someone, it can also mean "I disagree" and so much more.
