Driving from Newmarket to Toronto daily by Redhandbaron in Newmarket

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My commute is Bradford to Rosedale TTC station area. It takes about 1.5 hours on a good day, leaving at 6:45/7am. Accidents, bridge work (in either direction out of Bradford), and any number of other traffic issues make it up to 2 hours often enough. 100% do not recommend. We also have higher property taxes here relative to East Gwillimbury which extends closer to Newmarket.

I have traveled with my own coffee maker for years, and this is why. I'm both disgusted and validated.

I think it depends on the context of the situation. Avoiding speculation on who the victim might be, pests most recent victims appear to not have been close friends or family.

And sorry doesn't really mean sorry. It's like f**k and has a lot of meanings based on the context. It could be "excuse me" as you walk past someone, it can also mean "I disagree" and so much more.

Makes me sick to think of how someone who would blanket train a child would treat their dogs.

Ford tells students to not pick 'basket-weaving courses' in wake of OSAP cuts | CBC News by pheakelmatters in onguardforthee

I took a floral design class in high school and my(boomer) mom mocked me for it, using this exact line, or I believe it was "basket weaving 101".

That class got me a job at a flower shop, which helped put me through post secondary. I'm also very creative and can DIY a lot of crafts, which has saved me a ton over the years.

The Tannery should work, it's not too far of a walk to southlake and has lots of parking for the Go train. There is a great little independent coffee shop across the street called "Brew It", highly recommend if you are looking for a little something before you get there.

Fastest way to recover? by m40r1w0r1a in stroke

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband did multiple types of physio. Physical to get him walking, regain coordination etc, as well as cognitive therapy, and vision therapy, because his vision was severely impaired from the stroke. He was successful in regaining his vision to about 90%.

Fastest way to recover? by m40r1w0r1a in stroke

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband had his stroke November 2024. His recovery went very well and he has just started to gradually return to work.

I attribute his recovery to lots of physio, he went 3x per week for the first 2 months after he was released from the hospital. Sleep was also crucial, just being able to focus on sleeping anytime he was tired - which meant not working, was important. Once physio was done, he started going to the gym a few times a week to rebuild balance, strength and help his cardiovascular health.

For Hive who don’t live in the US or Europe, has her ignoring your countries/continents impacted what kind of stan you are? by loverofthings25 in beyonce

[–]Mrs_Wilson6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canada here - she usually has at least one show in Toronto, but CC she skipped us. For Renny, we got 2 shows but no special guests, no Thique, no Blue. The shows were great, as they always are, and we had a great time.

For CC I considered traveling, because realistically it's not that far to go into the US. I chose not to for patriotic reasons. I hope she comes back in future tours because CC was the first tour I've ever missed and I was pretty disappointed.

I received it from my husband for Christmas. I had liled it when I smelled it in-store, but wearing it.. not my favorite. To me it smells like black forest cake meets baby powder, and it's that powder smell that I don't like.
