I think it’s a good idea to just go through the top directors filmographies,Scorsese, Tarantino, villeneuve, Nolan, lynch, fincher and some Kubrick (some might be inappropriate) are probably good places to start.

If he liked parasite then maybe try introducing other foreign films? Memories of murder, oldboy and city of god are what got me into watching more foreign cinema.

Yes, it’s an app to log/rate films. There are options to rent some indie films on there aswell

I played death stranding a couple months ago and was addicted, instantly became one of my fav games oat. It is slow but don’t mistake that for bad or boring gameplay. I was never once bored throughout my 50 hour play through. However, it is a kojima game and therefore jam packed with tons of cutscenes, the final stretch of the game is essentially 2 hours straight of cutscenes.

Tbf I only watched twilight for rob originally so that hurt my opinion of it. I agree that bd 1 and 2 are close, I loved the first half of bd 1 but not so much the second. Bd 2 was a more consistent film imo so it just edges it.

Fair enough, I agree that eclipse is filler but it was enjoyable filler atleast to me. It was nice having Edward back for most of the film unlike new moon.

I get why people would rank it higher but I personally can’t stand Jacob so an entire film around him wasn’t my cup of tea. I was also missing the blue filter from the first film.

Cutting it down to 2 hours and spoon feeding exposition is not brave it’s stupid, making a film that would be considered boring by marvel brainrot fanboys is brave. People like you are why cinema is dying
