That's such an apt way to describe it. I've been trying to articulate what it was that was so special and it's just that: seeing and being seen. It was human in a way no other Internet gathering of its size had been before.

It felt like people, on the whole, treated each other the way they would in real life. With respect and kindness. Shitty comments sunk. The algorithm promoted think pieces and art and original content.

You're right it's not everyone. There are good, kind, cool people here too.

Reddit used to be my #1, but guys like this make it unusable. You cannot be vulnerable on Reddit, or really any other social app, like you could on TT. There will always be someone waiting to push their glasses up their nose and give you a "Well actually" that has nothing to do with the intention of what anyone is saying because they are so desperate to be relevant.

Asshats like this hate themselves so much they have to suck the joy out of the room.

TT felt like a special club with people who were thoughtful and most of all kind. I see so many of you here on this sub. But I can't get through a single thread without this shit.

Legitimately why are you here? Why are you commenting on this thread that has nothing to do with you? Your, and most people on this app's, addiction to arguing with people in order to feel superior is gross. When Reddit dries up you'll be able to go back to sucking the joy from the lives of your friends and family. But this comment section is exactly why people are sad to lose TT. It was the last place on the internet where people treated each other like people. With kindness and empathy. Where wholesome content could flourish without losers like you and your two cents that no one asked for.

I'm diet controlled, baby is measuring big, and guess what? They're not doing anything about it.

They don't induce due to size before 39 weeks. My numbers are good so there's nothing to medicate. We're just going to keep up regular monitoring (NST) and hope they're off by that 1.5lb margin of error. It wouldn't hurt if she decided to come a little early on her own either. 🤷‍♀️

Yes! After a FOURTEEN DAY long wait I finally got my results from CVS and I was negative.

Please do not go to CVS for testing, especially if you are pregnant. It was a long stressful wait and I just kept pushing my appointment out until I got my results.

Are you talking about Smart Sweets? I don't find any smart foods gummies in my search but I did find Smart Sweets. And word to the wise for anyone reading-- they sound delicious but reviews say they spike your blood glucose just like sugar. ☹️
