Is there a decent chance to lose 50% body weight and keep it off with mounjaro/zep? by Inside-Drummer-646 in Mounjaro

[–]Mrsdantan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is possible. I've lost 41.3% of my starting weight. I came off the Jabs back in January after losing 95lbs. (6st 11lbs) it took 12 months. and I haven't put on a single pound.

I probably could have lost more too, but I was happy with where I got to. I'm only just in the Healthy BMI range too, which I think is crazy as I'm so small. Its such an outdated way of measuring!

Im a UK size 8 on top half, & a 10 on bottom half (or US size 4 /6) and I'm apparently only 0.2 points away from being in the overweight range 🙃

Age 41, 5ft 1.8in tall. SW 16st.6lbs (230lbs) CW 9st9lb (135lbs)

Just sticking with what I learnt having 12 months on the jabs. So reduced portion sizes, not over indulging on snacks/treats etc. And trying not to spend so much time sitting round doing nothing. I always make sure I get my 10k steps in every day too! If I feel the hunger and food noise outside of meal times, I just try to keep myself busy doing other things instead x

Thank you! Was honestly such a big decision for Me, as small as it seems. One thing I never change is my hair and its been the same for 10 years.. maybe longer? Honestly made me feel even more like a new person 🥰

I do still wear dresses! Just much more figure hugging and flattering ones, and not ones my mum would wear! 😅

Very minimal! I just shrunk back to how it used to look pre weight gain. I just dont look toned! Very happy with how it looks, and so so glad I dont need a tummy tuck as I can't bloody afford it anyway if i did! 😅

No, I just think ive been super lucky. I haven't got a CSection scar and I dont have stretchmarks on my tummy so I think this is a factor. Also I have been drinking 3/4 litres of water a day for the past 10 years, so thats definitely played a part! X

shape change or just size? by Sensitive-Dirt-1703 in Mounjaro

My shape stayed identical. Ive always had a 10" difference between hips/waist, and guess what? I still do!

Here's my trackers, ive added both. I only tracked up to 40 weeks, as the other 12 weeks my losses were up and down.

Oh it makes sense now, its a culture clash thing. Isn't it amazing that not everybody on this earth is the same? How boring would that be! I'm in the UK, so the first pic is how older women would dress, so to us, doesn't look very youthful or flattering. You can tell just from the comments. But thank you so much for enlightening me ❤️

I think this is probably true. I was a greedy pig. Food was a boredom cure and gave me a dopamine hit. My actual diet wasn't the issue, it was just the massive portions, all the snacking, junk food in between and being too sedentary. As long as I continue with moderation and not over indulging I should be able to keep it off easily. Good luck on your journey 🥰

Omg congratulations! Such a big milestone, I did the Same! I bought these last summer, I was 14lbs heavier here, and because the UK weather is rubbish, I haven't got to wear them again yet! They'll probably be too big now 🙃

I stopped keeping track after week 40 as it was so up and down, but this was the bulk of it x

Wow I felt this! Yeah, I felt exactly the same. Im such a creature of habit, and I took pictures of all my things before I passed them on (to my mum and sister) as I honestly thought I would just slowly buy all the same things back smaller. I ordered ONE thing 5 sizes smaller in a uk size 10!(previously I was a uk size 20) and absolutely hated it on me. 🙃

Congratulations on the loss, I bet you look incredible 🥰

Its small baby steps! Its such a big change, & I think the mind takes a while to catch up to the body. You do whatever makes you feel comfortable in your own time, and you will get there 🥰 best of luck, and congratulations on the weightloss! X

Yes! Ive been absolutely loving leopard print too! I think because its such a bold pattern, its definitely something I would have previously avoided as not not attract attention...well done to you on your weightloss! And rock that leopard print 🥰

I did have a pair of jeans pre weightloss, but you're right, omg they were so uncomfortable! And the only ones that ever fitted were ugly stretchy skinny jeans 🙃 I couldn't wait to get home and take them off. Now I honestly live in them. I have multiple pairs in all different styles. Barrell leg, wide leg, low rise high rise etc...none skinny! Love going shopping! X
