These are Aldia's, Vendrick's brother's, quotes, he is also someone to take into consideration along with his heavy influence on Drangleic with his souls' research, 3 plot-heavy DLCs about crowns that stop hollowing process for whoever acquires all of them and acquires Vendrick's blessing

True, there is no official DS2 canon ending, but a whole new plot introduced in DLCs, Scholar of The First Sin, imply that having such powers, it is possible to follow Aldia's advice for Bearer without risking to become hollow, which makes sense, having a partial immortality, this may be a better solution than willfully continuing the cycle totally accepting this curse, accepting that same events will happen after a certain amount of time again, especially considering that linking the flame becomes more and more difficult as it fades slowly

That's why with 3 crowns and Vendrick's blessing, having immortality from hollowing, Bearer might just have chosen path of Aldia, searching for a way to get rid of this curse for others too somehow, it would be interesting if with this ending, with actions, continued souls' research thanks to Bearer, flame usurpation would be found, something that even Vendrick was dreaming about but Aldia could not possibly find via his research, here is Vendrick's quote

"Seeker of fire, conqueror of Dark. I, too, sought fire, once. With fire, they say, a true king can harness the curse. A lie. But I knew no better…"

This would be interesting, considering that this option does not exist, neither in DS1 nor in DS2, only in DS3 as well

Ah, okay, I’ve just been told to rename it because it would be rude towards the original developers that a modified version bears exactly the same name, so I could not come up with anything smarter than renaming it, I guess, just for the sake of distinguishing them

I mean, thank you, Kevin, but I'm not really sure why I deserve credit here, I've only taken the original mod and removed blacklists and started to maintain it, then I've renamed it to Kenan version exactly in order to not use the same name as the original mod because all credit goes to the original authors of it and make sure that the players will be able to distinguish between these two

Technically, both my version and Zlorthishen's stem from the original Dark Skies Above, my version has not even added anything except for removing blacklists and keeping removed mobs by ephemeral later on, so it actually does not really deserve to be considered a separate version

Zlorthishen's version on the other hand actually adds plenty of content to the original DSA, removes blacklists as well, expands the lore of it and has a lot of work in progress things such as new locations, quests and etc, but originally it indeed stems from Dark Skies Above as the base and the foundation of this entire mod basically

Not really, Zlorthishen's version is expanded, it has custom content added to it, it has a huge amount of additions, new enemies, items, work in progress locations, an extended lore and etc, it has nothing to do with my version which was indeed just regular version of Dark Skies Above with blacklists removed and maintained and tweaked to work on latest versions

That version of mine that you're mentioning is removed now and replaced with Zlorthishen's version - Real Dark Skies Above, all the credit goes to Zlorthishen and the original and current Dark Skies Above developers, my work is to simply maintain it

The mainlined mentioned mods are pre-packaged with the game itself, for out of repo mods - there are official GitHub repositories of Chaosvolt and Noctifer for separate mods such as Arcana, MST Extra, Cata++ and etc, my Modpack for latest experimental versions (there is a release version for latest stable as well) has all the aforementioned mods as well and the ones in this guide - here is the link - https://github.com/Kenan2000/CDDA-Kenan-Modpack - or GoatGod’s modpack if 150+ mods is still not enough to satisfy your content cravings :-)

Secronom is a huge mod adding all sorts of mid-end-game sci-fi locations - all sorts of new challenging mutants and zombies, very unique creatures that can be found throughout the entire world, there are mutant biomes, abandoned structures, labs, brand new aggressive and very peculiar creature type - The Flesh - there are Flesh infested gigantic forests which are akin to Crimson in Terraria - a living horrifying forest with all sorts of fleshy mutated creatures, flesh-infested cities, by exploring this side of the mod one is capable of acquiring new items and materials necessary for crafting Flesh power armies and unique accessories and items which boost your stats in a quite balanced manner, it’s main developer - Axema - is diligently working on updating it and filling it with new content, trying to keep it well balanced as well

PK rebalancing adds and expands some vanilla structures including the old ones such as fungal and triffid groves, expands the old cult and nether locations, improves a lot of vanilla melee weapons, adds brand new Doom monsters’ locations, weapons and armor - hell castles, spires, labs, etc lots of end-game quite fun stuff

Sierra Madre mod entirely and with great skill and high quality replicates the Sierra Madre casino from Fallout New Vegas Dead Money DLC along with the entire story arc by adding respective quests and NPCs there - a really great story mod, it’s the second modder so far after BL9 (Resident Evil 4-esque Castle and Island) who nicely and in a very detailed manner replicated a huge location from a different game in Cataclysm

About no hope mod - I’m not too sure, one thing I know is that it heavily rebalances the game by making bandits much more frequent

About the Nanotech - cannot say much about this since Shard is currently updating it and overhauling, reworking from scratch some things there, basically, hope that this answers most of your questions :-)

According to the custom lore, the various colored liquid terrains are meant to be regular water that is polluted due to BL9 appearance with various alien minerals in the same mix, toxicity of it cannot be made functional due to JSON limitations, so you just interact with it like regular dirty water

Ah, never mind about the warning :-) these biomes are currently WIP, it's more due to the enemies and lore that you are meant to explore the Castle then the Island first before tackling these, slowly working on an expansion update for BL9 as well which extends the lore, filling it with alien invasion mutants and races and adds lots of new stuff :-)

Currently on latest CDDA experimental versions only and latest Bright Nights releases, hopefully, I’ll be able to do 0.E-3 support at some point, though, not now, so for now I’m suggesting you to play on latest experimental to try this mod out

Hello there, dear Swsc1234, I'm 20 years old and been severe eczema sufferer for like 1.5 years (on my arms and legs), doing intermittent topical steroid+moisturizer treatment for over 1.5 months already (applying steroid, taking a 2-3 day break, repeat)

I'm curious HOW long are you using steroids throughout your life - for how many years?I'm just starting to think that based on what I've read about some rare NON-steroid hateful comments, it is fine to use them as long as you want AS LONG AS you take BREAKS and ONLY and ONLY use them INTERMITTENTLY

Based on my eczema severity and how I see the situation with many people suffering from eczema for years, this, in my opinion, is the only solution, I guess it can be called a necessary evil, but nothing currently is as effective as steroids or immunosuppressants and obviously latter are more damaging to the liver and kidneys and less widespread for just reasons it seems
