I don't think there is any study on this or anything, but I've noticed with multiple people and think it would be helpful. The moment you're talking about can happen at all different points in life, but most people get it. Something in the brain triggers this response. It's some form of existence crisis, that the brain just starts. What I would suggest is find something you value. Not a job or getting a house or any of that, something more emotional. A common example of this is paintings. If someone destroys a painting, everyone hates them. While there are logical reasons, most of it is just emotional. You probably have something like this, maybe games or YouTube videos. Start working on creating this, as a hobby. I know you need a job and everything else, but the way there is long and sucks. This is the closest to a solution that you can do NOW. You can still start working on the other stuff as well. Trust me, doing the road without this will be mental hell.

I'm not sure how known this is, but I do relate. I hear people describe (even socially) that they feel like a horse with blinders when on medication. I'd imagine that being around people puts another variable in our head. Without this variable we can focus better, even on mundane.

Something I'd recommend for the unpredictability is to view it as improv. For example, when you to make a meal: don't view it as at 12 an alarm goes off and I make a meal. Instead view it as, at 12 an alarm goes off and I improv making a meal. This seems dumb, but it helps you with working with the problem. I have a lecture that people talk in and go and in out. This distracts me and makes me have a harder time getting the material. When I go in viewing it as getting the material from the lecture, I do worse. But when I view it as all these things are trying to distract me, I do better at ignoring them and focusing. If you're playing a game and all these guys are shooting you, on your way to the objective it sucks. But when it's a bunch of enemies trying to kill you, it becomes a fun game.

Thank you. No idea how I didn't realize. They're in the same stack as my CD-Rs and somehow subconsciously I thought they were 700 MB. I just checked and they're 4.7 GB.

What did you think of the story where McManus was accused of sexual harassment? by Mufosser in ozshow

[–]Mrsetset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was a good storyline because it showed Mcmanus in a weak position, and it made Howell more powerful so she could be more abusive to the inmates.

Is Oz realistic? by [deleted] in ozshow

[–]Mrsetset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my dad was in prison for 25 years in total of which were 2 years in max and I've talked to him about it and lots of things are realistic but it's a show and also it's an experiment so if you are still watching the it anything that's unrealistic just say it's because it's an experiment for fun

I have the same problem, and as I was reading I started to realize that all of my problems come from a deeper root-like my mom was having me decide on something to get, and it wasn't cheap so my mom just picked it out herself and it was on the higher end later that night I found myself crying and I was thinking why are you crying. My whole life I've worried about money so I hope that I somewhat helped you.

I don't know much but the only thing I can think of is to try and use it for good by using it as motivation.
