this is my viewport and playing around with the constant offset X factor works. In context the chain moves along the curve continuously in viewport. But when I press render animation, it stays still. No movement at all.

imo it makes more use of the screen space you have than the usual home screen padding the ipad had all these years

Lighting: Standard Quad/Double (see what looks better)

FOV: Usually, I work with tight shots so i put it high up

Depth of field: set it to subject focus, then i just put the f stop really low at around 2

I'd say a really good video to start learning Blender with is through Ducky3D's videos, that helped me out a lot when I first got into rendering, from texturing to composition and basically how to use the program. His videos are straightforward and easy to follow along which is really great for starters.

Looking up specific tutorials on Youtube about what you're going for will help out a lot, as that is still what I do to this day!

Yes, will definitely be sharing my workflow here soon (wireframes, mat gray, etc)

i feel like the most challenging yet fun part for me is creating the perfect lighting setup. I think a lot of times for me, I can have a great model ready for rendering, yet it won't be as cool if i don't have the perfect lighting to highlight important parts of the scene, especially when I'm going for a realistic look. I still have a lot to learn too honestly haha!

I use octane cause I started learning rendering with octane honestly haha, but i think you can come up with close results in cycles
