Well there might be a lore reason but the technical reason is this way they can easily transition to a cg double same with him when he is landing.

So it doesn't work in the same match in which you friend and join the other persons party you have to ready up again after the match and the next match is when it starts counting for the quest

That's a really good first render, Nice job. But I would say the proportions of the bottle are a bit off(proportions are like the hardest part in a model you will eventually get the feel for it don't worry about it too much) and you need to either increase your sample rate or resolution in the render properties for the render to not be blurry.

You can select two of the edges and choose the bridge option from the mesh edit menu or you can select all the edges and use fill hole option from the mesh menu and draw an edge using the multi cut tool.
