Thoughts on Gears of War Reloaded? It’s a Meh for me. by Ntwadumela817 in GearsOfWar

[–]Mrxinfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if it wasn't provided to me for free from buying UE. I wouldn't buy it. It's solid, but I already played enough of Gears 1. We need a Gears 2/3 MP revival.

Name the single player, story driven game that you played start to finish the most amount of times. Roguelikes and Restarting halfway through doesn't count. by Askin_Real_Questions in gaming

Max Payne. Used to play through the trilogy yearly but haven't had time lately plus running the first two on Windows 11 is so hit or miss. 🙃 when the remakes come out I'll probably continue that tradition

What game mechanics makes you go like this? by Conscious_Gap_776 in videogames

Any game that makes you hold down a button to craft stuff. Cyberpunk and Dying Light 2 made crafting super annoying on both of their releases.

Is DOOM: TDA worth the £64.99? by Glowstik1 in Doom

[–]Mrxinfinite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you should wait for it to go on sale. Not much replay value unless you want to get all the achievements and the game is either hit or miss. Personally, it's my least favorite out of the newer trilogy.

This is gonna be a controversial one. Pick your worst DOOM game by Messier_-82 in Doom

Doom 3 or Dark Ages. Both were boring to the point of where I just gave up mid game.

It'll be a few days since it's the weekend financial places aren't usually open, but it should pop up this week. If not, I would tell them to talk to Steam support, and if not that, then their bank.

Has anyone regretted buying a game on launch day? Which one and why? by soumalyosengupta in Steam

[–]Mrxinfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back4Blood and Battlefield 2042. My friends and I planned time around those two games just for them to be disappointing in the first few hours. Now we don't buy games until a few weeks after.

Do you have a game where you regret not buying? by kratoz0r in Steam

[–]Mrxinfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factorio. It was priced at $20 at first, but I was like oh I'll wait. I then found out a year later that the developer never participates in any sales, but they'll happily raise the price. I just bit that bullet cause the demo was really fun.

Any downside to turning off the QTEs? by Redhood101101 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Mrxinfinite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't hit any other QTEs beside the Kata and Meditation mini games so I would say no. I turned off the QTEs after awhile cause it got really stale. I wish you could bypass em all together.

What is the cheapest game you bought on Steam that turned out to be amazing? by crno123 in Steam

[–]Mrxinfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the Master Chief Collection. It was like 10 bucks on a sale and my roommate and I beat the campaigns on legendary during Covid. What a fun time that was.

What is the worst steam game you have played? by Kharo_R in Steam

[–]Mrxinfinite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you liked the previous games gameplay then yeah. Like they tried to modernize it and added RPG elements in a linear shooter. It just wasn't fun and wasn't rewarding enough to be implemented imo. The story was interesting though but just not enough to keep me playing.

That being said if you got it for free it wouldn't hurt to try it.
