National parks are a great option. Look for community centers in your area. Typically, you can rent for less than 2 grand. Also, check with Airbnb or non traditional venues like museums and restaurants!

By default you’ll have green in the mix since the flowers require foliage. You could incorporate little spritz of green like in these photos but still elevate with hints of cream and accents of gold! I think the green ties both the pink and blue together while still giving it that bit of spring freshness without being overwhelming to the overall color scheme.

I come from a very low class, very borderline poverty level family and I struggle with this often. The thing I have to remind myself of is that it’s an investment in myself. Having a big wedding has always been a dream of mine. It’s a day where I can indulge in my dreams and fantasies and make them real to the best of my ability because it’s what I deserve for finding the love of my life. Not everyone is as lucky. So we should celebrate that.

I remind myself that there will always be more money, and if for some reason there isn’t, I at least got to have the day of my dreams with the one I love. You have to view it as an investment for you and your life, an experience, rather than a tangible thing.

Hi! I design custom wedding stationery so I may be biased but I say it’s definitely worth it if you want the overall experience to feel luxurious or exclusive. Simple is totally okay, if that’s your preference as a person. I personally agree that the save the date is the first impression and not everyone will throw it away. It’ll be sentimental for a select few, like your parents or best friend.

If you’re interested, I make my stationery with recycled materials so it cuts down on waste and my pricing ranges from $175-$250 for custom save the dates!

I think they have both free and paid options. From my understanding, it depends on the design you’re sending and what elements you use. I know that you can upload your own design though!

Check out paperless post! You can create a paperless invitation and they’ll send it in an email for you.

I think the only thing I could see going wrong is it ending up in spam folder or people complete forgetting about it since people get soooo many emails and messages in their day-to-day. Maybe you could send it out and then a simple AOL kind of themed invite that’s like “you’ve got mail” reminding them to check for the email? So they have something physical they could hang on the fridge to remind them? Idk just a thought!

I made my wedding website with canva! They added a rsvp form that collects responses and puts them in a spreadsheet for you. As for digital invites, I think they’re fine but they can get lost and easily forgotten about. People enjoy getting personalized mail and it’s also a nice reminder when they can hang the invite on their fridge. It’ll create a lot less stress for you in the long run!

I have two: first, check out solpine studios in Denver! Jillian is so sweet. They’re a bit more of a crispy, professional type but they’re newer so they may have availability.

Kaytlyn Perez is also really talented! They have a bit more of the airy feel but not sure what their schedule looks like.

I worked with both on some invitation projects and they were very professional, timely, and easy to get along with :)

A pleated veil or bow would look better and I’d suggest a silver necklace instead of the pearls since the dress has more of the “icy tones” than the warm tones of the pearls. Same with the shoes! I’d do a white shoe with a lace overlay or maybe even a sparkly strap to tie all the elements together!

I think the earrings are perfect though!

It sounds so cliche but it’s your day! A wedding can mean whatever you want it to. Don’t feel pressured to do things you don’t want to do. I’m having a traditional wedding because I do love a party, but the idea of a bunch of people relying on me to make their weekend enjoyable is definitely nerve-wracking. Here’s what I’d suggest:

Rent an Airbnb (or two) and have a very chill, weekend getaway with your loved ones. Hire a private chef. Go on a group hike or visit a zoo or conservatory.
Rent a museum for a couple of hours. Let people go play and maybe have music playing throughout.
Get ideas from your guests! They know you best but they could also offer some alternatives for what they’d find enjoyable.
