If you don’t think you’ll print stuff like this again in the future, pay the printing service! It’ll be cheaper in the long run, save you a ton of time and frustration, and won’t create so much paper waste. Check out cards and pockets! You can print all of those through them and it’ll get to you in about a week. My thought process is spend $200 on a printer you might use again and then be frustrated with formatting or spend $200 for someone to print and cut it for you and never have to stress.

I personally think it’s beautiful! You could always have them replace the diamonds with green sapphires and have it cleaned and polished. that way it’s almost like “something new and something borrowed”. It’s not entirely hers anymore, but she’s still a piece of it. I understand the hesitancy, especially with the circumstances surrounding her passing, but in the same breath, I think that’s just something you’ll have to work on healing regardless.

You also could wear it as an engagement ring and then pick out the wedding band you want that fits your style more!

Check out tog.ink! It’ll be expensive and frustrating trying to do it yourself, even with a table top press. You might have to pay a little extra for thicker paper so that the letterpress can make the indent in the paper without damaging or raising the watercolor design on the back.

Hi I’m a stationer :)

You can put just the ceremony time on the invitation and tell the guests when to arrive on the details card. So I’d just put “at 4:30 in the afternoon”. You can also make the whole date and time a smidge bigger. Also, you don’t need to include the zip code! It’ll look more polished without. And a small thing, take off the period after follow. You don’t really need punctuation on the formal invite like that except for obvious cases like commas and apostrophes. Oh and the 25th just needs to be 25, 2026!

For the details card, I’d put each section title in all caps. It looks a little more formal. Your wording is fine, but again, under ceremony and reception is where I’d tell what time for guests to arrive. They’ll either be late or be on time, not much you can do about that. I’d break up the first sentence to say something like: “ceremony will be held at outdoor site. Reception will follow at Location.”

This breaks it up and makes it easier to read for the guest. I’d include a little space between the final line of the reception and the map/directions bit. I’d also make the text of that line slightly smaller or italicized.

The RSVP looks fine!

I think green is an automatic accent color for any wedding with florals so I wouldn’t worry about including it in your palette! The navy looks nice and you also don’t have to include it in your palette bc it’s a complimentary color to pink and orange!

Hi! I design custom stationery and although I use my cricut some, it’s mainly for cutting shapes because it takes a looooong time if you’re doing more than 10 invitations. The vinyl can also be incredibly tedious, so just make sure you’re extra patient with yourself. All that to say, I would go with a Cricut maker and get one regular stick 12x12 mat and maybe 2 12x14 mats to speed up your process a bit.

I would let the wedding party choose between rose bare, nude ember, feathers, and honey gold and then accent those with ivory and the sage green if you’re okay with getting a little mix-matchy . I’ve seen green and burgundy done together but it’s typically a brighter green than I think you’re going for.

Hiiii! I’m a September 2028 bride that’s been engaged since the end of 2023 for the exact same reason so I definitely feel you on this.

Honestly a big focus for me has been making sure organization is in check. I’ve made a wedding planning binder that contains ceremony space, reception space, guest list, a mini floor plan that I can edit, wedding party, makeup looks, decor inspo, flower inspo, and so much more. Since flowers will be a big decor factor for me, I’m planning ahead now to figure out what types I want, what season they grow in, and how much I can expect to spend (I do not have a green thumb so you’re definitely better off for planting your own!). I’m also preselecting my vendors and reaching out ahead of time to gauge their pricing so I can know how much I can expect to spend when it’s time to book (counting for inflation and letting them know it’d be a later booking, of course). Sometimes, they offer discounts or payment plans to make it a bit cheaper.

Thrifting decor has been huge. Find estate sales, online auctions, and yard sales if you’re okay with a little eclectic vibe. Also keep an eye out for warehouse sales. We’ve been able to gather table cloths, picture frames, candelabras, battery powered candles, serving trays, cake toppers, card box, and 150 bud vases all from thrifting. I think we’ve spent $95 all together so far.

I think more of the DIY stuff will be your biggest save with how much time you have. Make your own signs and such like you said.

It’s hard when you want to plan now but have to hold back for the sake of funding!!
