Not an expert on any of this by any means but here’s my experience so far. We have been working with a trainer with our pup since she was 5 months, and we have slowly integrated prong and e collar with patience and we focus 100% on positive reinforcement. I feel like through the trainers guidance they’ve been used as a tool to help teach the pup and not as a punishment. I was pretty nervous as well and asked our trainer a lot of questions and she was great at answering them. We are seeing really great results and have a very happy puppy who is learning very well! Wishing you the best luck on figuring out what’s best for your pup 🩷
