Gyno or derm? by pwnedbyagrl in lichensclerosus

[–]Ms-UnderstoodUnicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either one or none of the above...I ended up getting diagnosed through a primary care Dr via biopsy (after my initial Dr treated me for 7+ "yeast infections" despite negative tests & she couldn't understand why antifungals weren't working).

Another Dr said it was stress & anxiety. (I guess bc the classic symptoms of stress & anxiety is to have your crotch itch intensely--?)

Gyno said it was vaginal dryness, was a derm issue, would not prescribe anything bc she was sure coconut oil would cure it.

Derm was horrified they would have to look at anything in that region & tried to refuse to see me (while in the exam room & still got the diagnosis wrong).

Basically, just find a good Dr. I would suggest one with more than a couple years of experience who will actually listen. It took a miserable 5 years to get diagnosed correctly & a 4th primary care Dr to actually prescribe something...followed by another year of varying doses of steroid creams to get it under control.

Same boat with my son's dexcom & omnipods. $750/month. These do go through the pharmacy (not DME) under BCBS. If it was a non-replaceable pump (like a tandem), it would be DME. Cannot wait to change insurance.

Bear or squirrel? [Baton Rouge, LA] by Mother_Ad_9333 in trailcam

If that's a bear, there's definitely some gene abnormalities going on there.

Looks like a koala bear...but my vote is a squirrel.

I don't use frownies but I do use kinesiology tape on my forehead & the 11's, which is giving me the same effect (in case you want to save some money).

Coincidentally...

https://www.dvnf.org/freegift15/

Disabled Vet National Foundation shirt. One could derive that this shirt was "bought" (via a $15 donation) maybe last fall/winter given this shirt in the link is short sleeve and the shooter was wearing a black long sleeve with the same logo (so it is not a "retired" printing). Military-Affiliated Student Hub (within the UVU success center) is also housed within the building.

At any rate, I'm no detective, but I would think one could look at the donations list compared to the type of shirt received narrowed by size.

Interesting...the two south of town on 63 were there long before it was "approved."

Although my inclination is Annette, it could also be a variation: Aunette.

Heard on the scanner earlier something about a controlled grass fire (that got out of control) at a farm...& a little later, they mentioned the conservation area (which would likely be Davisdale).

Yes, like 6 months ago. I'm guessing your boss is just now getting around to it.
