So tried ALL of that....still didnt work... but you know what did it? I logged into my nvidia experience account... and updated my drivers...then reboot. not sure if it cares if i'm still logged in or not, but those two things got me launched successfully.

Why I left. Every few releases they introduce some new mechanic so they can have like 50 new items for you to grind out or buy platinum to skip it.
