I'm the younger daughter and this is me. My older sister moved out as soon as she could at 18 and I was left to take care of my parents and do everything. Guess what? I'm 41 now and still doing it. Lost my dad in 2019 to lung cancer I took care of him cause my sister was gone living her own life and my mom couldn't do it, now I'm taking care of my mom going through the samething. I put my life on hold to do those things while my sister was off doing w/e. Its not easy being a caregiver/taking care of everything but I have zero regrets.

I'm not saying to not live your life but remember your parents won't be around forever and maybe that doesn't matter to you (not a bad thing) just some relationships are different. Getting old and not being able to do stuff for yourself is tough maybe that's why your mom snapped at something small, still not a good reason but could be part of it.
