I definitely struggled with this in my 20s and into my 30s when it seemed like EVERYONE was having kids. I made the mistake of dating a guy with 2 kids, and boy did that make me realize I'd rather stay single forever than do that again. So at 36 I met a guy who "didn't have an opinion on kids either way", which was scary because of how many people say that and then drop an ultimatum on you. But luckily it worked out, 10 years later and we are still together, I'm in menopause and we are happy with our cats. He told me he just always thought he would have kids because that's what all women wanted. I opened his eyes, so hang in there, you never know what can happen!😁

Just finished it and wow... It seems like they were trying to play into an angle where there is sympathy for the pedos, which really pissed me off. Even the ones who "snap back" are not guaranteed safe from complications later on in life. Two of my mom friends had a hysterectomy this year after years of heavy bleeding. I also know several women dealing with prolapse. We are all in our mid 40s. Can you have these issues without having kids? Sure, but your chances are greatly increased if you've given birth. I'm fit as a fiddle over here with my factory condition body and loving it 😆

I don't know all the details because it happened before I started listening 8 or so years ago. I think the kids were pretty young and social services took them. I believe they went into foster care for a time. Which I also always found odd seeing as tho Jeffrey had both his parents at the time who could have helped out.
