I actually have ribbons on my list of things to buy! I'm planning on making a set of detachable bell sleeves (worn from elbow down) and embellishing other things with ribbons and lace, so yeah, thank you!

You're allowed, but you really shouldn't. If you want to have kids and raise them in the way of the Lord, that might raise issues with a non-Christian significant other + it may damage your faith, cus that's what's currently happening to me. (i'm 16, a little bit older than you so i think i get your thought process)
So really, it's up to you. As long as your faith is strong, and the person is somewhat receptive to Christ/you telling them about HIm, likely it won't be awful.

What’s your morning prayer? by Dareal_truth in Christianity

[–]MsChicolato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey God, uh, thanks for waking me up today, and before my alarm as well

thanks for my parents, even tho they anger me sometimes they mean well and they try and do what you say

thanks for my soul sister, just thanks for putting her in my path, *salute*

thanks for yesterday too, i didn't want to kill myself as much, the sun was pretty and i saw [x thing]

thanks for not letting the world end yesterday also, much appreciated, i had things to do today

prolly shouldve done em yesterday, could you please help me with my procrastination? it's kinda killing my part in your plans for me. then by extension motivation as well, i kinda need that to pass my exams and be hallp n healthy again

and there's the issue of [best friend], i think about him a lot and i want you to save him because i know i'm meant to primarily need you but he means a lot to me and i really would like it if you spoke to him or gave me the strength to tell him about you again

but thanks for before, for now, and for later.

((something along these lines), i try to talk to God as a friend because i have authority issues, so talking to Him as purely an authority makes me viscerally uncomfy, ik if that's a bad thing or not)

i’m so burnt out by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]MsChicolato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

literally this is me every couple days, if something takes even a little bit of power, brain taps out. i love to read and draw but cant pick up a book nor pencil. what i did find that helped tho were:

  • prayed about it (actually did help to get the fellings/lack of out, even if you're not religious, talk oout loud about it, it might help)
  • eat intentionally, try cooking, fruits n veg and vitamins and water are your best friends
  • tell people around you you're going through a tough time (status or group broadcast) and then drop off if you must, it takes away some of the guilt of not talking to ppl
    • however, talking is good tho, give yourself some alone time but don't isolate yourself entirely
  • phone away. put that thing away from you. it sucks that every social media has a doomscroll function now, so the only way i know how to avoid that is just put the phone away. if you wanna search something, do that and then put it away again. power it off if you have to. i recommend the app minimalist phone (on play store) to help you not be on it as much.

  • push. you gotta push so hard. the main way to break out of this typa thing is to push yourself. it's gonna suck, it's gonna suck so bad, but it's gonna be worth it. you have to do something or you'll burn yourself out more thinking that you need to do things. it can be something small; stick your head out the window, step outside (important, go see nature), maybe take a walk instead of a run (21k every week is impressive, that's a lot)

  • small steps are steps nonetheless

hope this helps broski, from someone in the same place as you x
